This is a resort restaurant, so it's high-end dining, well done, with a beautiful view.
We opted for outdoor seating, which was lovely. There was a BBQ going on on the beach, but we opted for a la carte at the restaurant (we've found these buffet affairs are great for trying many dishes, but one needs to be famished to truly appreciate it all). After drinks we ordered starters-- I chose a bucket of prawns: 5 giant shell-on tiger prawns with Mary Rose and Thai sauces for dipping. They were cleverly presented, and generous... but relatively tasteless. Good thing there were sauces, because the prawns were merely a delivery medium for them! My husband had the crab cakes. We're from the Annapolis, MD, USA, where crab cakes are a way of life, and I can say these were delicious... so much so that I ordered them for my dinner. My husband ordered steamed sea bass, which came whole, and was sweet, succulent, and delicious (he shared a bit!)
Will we go back? Probably not. It was not easy to find (and we know the area a bit-- could see it, but couldn't get to it!!-- needs better signage!) There are too many good restaurants near where we stay to go out of our way for this one.
