I was looking forward to experiencing phi phi island, and it was the main reason of visiting phuket. After the long day ( 7:30 to 5) it was a bit of mixed bag on how I feel about the tour.
The staffs were very helpful and professional at what they do, informative and attentive.
The island was beautiful and it had breath taking picturesque scenery.
However the itinerary was crab and the underwater environment was not impressive at all.
I was disappointed as there was too little time to enjoy the beauty of phi phi. Your time gets wasted at the port before departure ( waited like an hour to hire the fins and briefing) and some little island called kai island to get ripped of by locals selling drinks, shades and water sports for an hour an a half. Where as you only get to spend less than hours at each destinations( an hour for the lunch at phiphi don, 40 minute on maya beach and 30 minutes snorkeling at bamboo island)
Furthermore Fins are not included and it costs 200baht to hire a pair, dont think its worth it as the snokelling was so short and not even impressive.
If snorkeling is your main reason of visiting phiphi, think twice.

While holidaying at Patong Beach my husband and I took a tour with Crystal Sea Marine to the Phi Phi Islands. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
We were picked up from our resort at about 8.15am. And taken to the Phuket marina, the trip took about 30-40 mins.
At the marina you get taken to the Crystal Sea Marina area, where there is seating, free drinks, and biscuits. Also sea sickness tablets are available free of charge.
It was quite noisy in this area, with guides having to talk quite loudly and at times over each other. This due to many people not listening, or not understanding in many cases.
The guides are very helpful and friendly and at times very amusing.
In this area there is also a small shop that has a few items that may be required for the day at the Islands. Waterproof phone cases, hats, jandals, sunscreen, water proof ponchos etc. All at inflated prices, compared to markets, but still reasonably priced.
You are then put into groups, given stickers to have on clothing and then out to the marina.
Shoes can not be taken on the boat unless you put them in your bag, otherwise there is a large basket where shoes are kept. And you retrieve them on your return.
Our boat (fast speed boat) was full, all outside and inside seats were taken.
We chose to sit towards the back undercover. Good, because the weather was a bit doubtful to start. And it would provide some shelter from the rain if we needed it, but still a good spot to get a good view from behind the boat. If not a bit smelly with the fumes from motor at times.
Good trip out with a good humoured guide who informed us of many facts of the area. Good to have a large chilly bin available and help yourself to the drinks when you want.
Added to the humour of the guide, I also had an Asian guy (late teens I think), fall asleep next to me and he kept leaning on me and at one stage even had his head on my shoulder! Several times I or my husband woke him but he just nodded off once again!! Much to the amusement of the people sitting opposite us.
The ride out was a bit bumpy at times, but not too uncomfortable for most of the passengers. Tho we did have a couple of people who were sea sick. Bags are readily available.
We were very lucky and the weather cleared on the way out, and it was beautiful weather.
We stopped to see the Monkeys and also the Viking Cave. The snorkelling at one area was great. Lots to see, and the water is very warm and clear. One of the guides got in the water also and pointed out several areas of interest. Flippers, snorkel, masks and life jackets etc are available. We had a very good amount of time to go snorkelling about 45 minutes approx.
At each area the boat stopped in there was a good bit of history and local info given and a good amount of time to take photos.
The buffet lunch that was included is nothing flash but ok. Drinks have to be paid for. It was a short walk to the restaurant for us, as our boat moored right in front of it. A little worrying as having no footwear, had to go to the toilet bare foot. But toilet was in clean condition.
Next stop was Maya Bay, this spot is beautiful and we spent about 1 hour there. Beautiful scenery and the colour of the water is amazing. Sadly spoilt a little by the litter in the water and on the beach. There were many boats coming in, they drop you off and head out into the bay. Otherwise there would have been no room along the shoreline. They day we went there were many people on the beach and in the water. We swam for some time, the water is lovely out there.
Once leaving Maya Bay we were taken to one last island, which I have forgotten the name of. This is just flat island with nothing but rocks at one end and a building at the other. Here were had afternoon tea, the guides take drinks and fruit from the boat and set up on the island. Once again here for 45 plus minutes.
The weather had turned a bit wet again and the guides recommended to stay in the water to keep warm, which seemed a bit strange at the time as it is so warm over there anyway. But they were correct it turned quite cool and the only way to stay warm was get back on the boat or stay in the water.
From this island it was about 20 minutes back to the Marina. All in all a great day out and the scenery was as you see in pictures, stunningly clear water, so blue in areas and very beautiful islands.

We paid approximately 2,000baht each for this trip, you start by being picked up from your hotel and taken to Phuket marina, you are then taken into the crystal sea marina offices where you have to sign an form for insurance you are then put into groups where all of the guides in the room are shouting at the same time so it is hard to hear what's going on, you're then taken onto the dock and told to put your shoes in a basket (put them in your bag or put another pair in your bag). You then get onto the boat that is very over crowded, myself and seven others had to sit outside the front as there wasn't enough room inside (fine in the marina in the hot weather), we then set sail the ocean was extremely choppy and when you're at the front of the boat you got thrown around a fair bit, it then started to heavily rain and that was quite painful as it comes sharp, the inside of the boat got wet also as the top is not water proof, we couldn't go to monkey beach as the weather was too bad so the boat pulled into monkey cave where it stayed for about five minutes, at this point everyone who was inside the boat came out to the small front area, we then went to a snorkelling spot but you couldn't see much, we then went to lunch on one of the islands but we were not given our shoes back so we had to walk along a stone beach on tile floor with wet bare feet and someone did actually fall over and a member of staff said 'be careful, slippy' (well obviously) you're expected to go to the toilet with no shoes on (this is why it's handy to keep your shoes in your bag) after a buffet lunch we got back onto the boat and went to look at Viking cave but you can't go inside you have to stay on the boat and look. We couldn't go to maya bay either due to the weather. We traveled to a lagoon that was the highlight of the trip as you got to jump off the boat! But we didn't stay there long enough in my opinion. We then went too a small island where as soon as you stepped off the boat you were pestered by people to buy drinks or go jet skiing. After an hour and a half here I was definitely ready to go back to the marina and back to the hotel. The weather again was extremely bad and we had to sit out the front but this time the guide made us sit on the floor as it was extremely bad weather. All in all it was an ok experience.

We booked the Phi2 island tour for about 2k baht per head. It was a rainy, gloomy morning and we still went ahead despite of the weather condition. We got picked up in our hotel about 815 and took nearly an hour to get to the Marina due to heavy traffic. The driver of the van was so good in maneuvering the road. Got to Marina and head straight to the crystal sea marine office/shop where all tours under crystal meet up. There was a little morning tea set up for everyone. When everyone was all there, we had a briefing about our tour and after head straight to the boat. Was a bit crowded. 30 plus people on the boat including crews. No room to move around. The worse part it was raining so all people want to stay inside. Was a bit bumpy and choppy ride but upon reaching our first destination, rain stopped and no more waves. There's a lot of drinks on the boat and we had buffet lunch somewhere in the island.

Overall was ok but crowded on the boat.

That's all folks.
