We stayed here in March of 2017...grandparents and a family of five. We had a suite with Grandma and Grandpa on one side and our family in the other. It was a good choice for a family as opposed to trying to stay in Paris proper with the entire gang. It is a neat and very well maintained property and felt like an old French cottage and village with acreage. The kitchen helped us save a few dollars and there are grocery stores close (one smaller local one and the big one at val d'Europe.) The kids loved the pool and the free classes on all sorts of fun things! All the staff we interacted with were VERY nice and helpful. Exploring the grounds is fun too with all the small attractions (Monet garden) as well as the animals.

It is close to the big Val d'Europe area/mall and of course Euro Disney. We did use this as a staging point for our entire vacation including trips into Paris on the train. This did work but it isn't "close" per se so you have to plan for that. If you do go into Paris any given day you need to plan to be there all day to make it worthwhile, coming home in the evening. I believe their shuttle will take you to the train station / mall (or near) but we had a car so we parked at the mall and walked to the train station from there. In case you haven't thought this far, I'm thinking most would not want to even attempt navigating Paris by car and the subways were pretty easy to figure out and there are some good apps out there. You will walk a lot no matter what so wear comfortable shoes, phone/camera, sunglasses, hat and glasses and perhaps an umbrella.

Also, though this area has some nice, small neighborhood areas with charm and the shuttles (to the mall, Disney, etc.), I think ideally you would want a car to make this work well and especially with a family. We had one and that worked perfect.

We didn't go expecting to do Disney (since we can and have done that in the US) but once the kids knew we were so close we did take a day and do that. It was actually really nice! It felt like home (except Darth Vader talking to us in French lol) and is also considerably cheaper than in the US as well as having considerably less crowds.

Overall it was a really incredible vacation. Even though we were there during the politically charged election, we still felt quite safe overall and despite what you may have heard (I did) almost every French person we interacted with was very nice and spoke plenty enough english to communicate with. We found that simply approaching them with a respectful and humble manner did wonders (like anywhere I suppose) and just using the basic phrases in French (and merci) went a long way.

I hope you enjoyed this review and have fun if you are blessed enough to go.

Room Tip: All the cottages and rooms looked great to us!

What can i say? it is a beautiful property. we had such a great time that we visited twice in less than a year and we are already thinking on when we can go back. Perfect for families, close to the park and the hotel offers a cheap shuttle service which is very convenient so you don't need a car at all.
Our villa were perfect on both occasions fully equipped and the welcome tea and coffee pack and laundry facilities was perfect when travel with little children.
the market in the resort is a bit pricey but you an find a Supermarket near by.
recommended!

Room Tip: Villas near the reception or kids play are a bit noisier than the others

I am a Marriott timeshare owner and have stayed at this property twice now. It is not close to Paris and hotel shuttle service only caters to the guests going to Disney. There is no shuttle service to train station to accommodate everyone else who might want to go into Paris for the day. More frequent shuttles to the same area do not address this problem. NEVER use washer or dryer unless you are fine with dirty dripping clothing and have 1-2 hours for them to dry. The dryer is so hot it melted some items and the hotel did not respond to issue in a timely manner but also not only denied it happened because no guests before or after us reported a problem. They also refused to reimburse us for our cost of items ruined or inconvenience. The hotel convenience store is a plus but their coffee machine broken one morning. Staff was excellent at Concierge desk and check-in. Unfortunately this does not make up for poor Management or location. Very disappointed.

Room Tip: Garden view very nice overlooking pond, rooms in front of complex to allow ease of walking to shuttle or local bus to train station.

Having been to all of the VC resorts in Europe, this is definitely our favourite - the villas are very quaint and clean/well finished as you would ever expect from Marriott. The location to Disneyland Paris is perfect if you want somewhere off resort, either a short drive away or the local bus service is very convenient. They must have a hard time keeping guests on resort when the parks are so close, but in recent years there has been a lot of investment on the site which shows, such as the revamped cafe/restaurant. When we do visit for Disney, it's always a shame we don't have more time to spend here!

Room Tip: Near the shop is most convenient

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of June with family in apartment 1303 and it was a lovely place to stay while in France.

We had a couple of meals in the restaurant with different varieties and they were of good quality.

Would definitely stay here again if in the area
