This was our first visit to the Churchill Arms for several years, and we we delighted to see it up and running again. It was a quiet Tuesday evening just after Easter and the local Point to Point, and our meal was faultless from start to finish. The smoked salmon starter was very different, and quite superb, as were our main courses of calf's liver and lamb, each dish having innovative touches which demonstrated the chef's skills. The pub is in an idyllic location, the decor is fresh and very pleasing and there is good choice of both beers, some local, and wines. We will certainly return, sooner rather than later. We are lucky to have such a great choice of eateries in the North Cotswolds, and the Churchill Arms is back up there on the list. Do visit.

we stumbled across this place whilst touring the costswolds. what an amazing find. welcomed by stuart at the bar, friendly and helpful chap, explained we was looking for a room for the night and he showed us the 2 beatufiully refurbished rooms they offer. both rooms are gorgeous with lovely views of this beautiful quiet village, decorated perfectly and in keeping with the building, all amenities you could require in a room are availble, lovely toiletries, large sofy fluffy towels, coffe maker and pods, bottled water and huge very comfortable bed to fall into. enjoyed a superb meal, cooked to perfection by the chef and owner Nick, lovely menu with good choice, portion sizes very satisfying, price very reasonable for the quality of the meat which tasted amazing, locally sourced and presented lovely, served arancini canapes as a surprise taster before the meal which was delicious, wine menu on offer was lovely, the merlot which is my particular favourite was fruity, full bodied and extremely reasonable in price. an excellent night sleep was enjoyed by both myself and my husband who both woke to the sound of birds singing, a lovely way to start the day. room was very clean and catered for everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was made to order and served at a lovely relaxed and informal pace, no rush to eat and to check out and a tasty full english breakfast was enjoyed by us both. I must thank Nick and isobella for their fantastic hosting, we was made to feel very welcome, served amazing food, and treated like royalty. we wish Nick the very best of luck at the Chrchill Arms in his new venture, absolutely sure this will be a roaring succss, and a place we will definately be coming back to for a lovely hearty meal and realxing weekend break. A huge thank you for accomodating us at such late notice over Easter , and congratulations on a perfect establishment with oodles of charm, character and amazing ambience in a beautiful village.!

Room Tip: both rooms are beatiful with fabulous views

We went with our children (4 & 6) and everything was fantastic: the meals were absolutely superb and it was great sleeping there as we could put the children to sleep and go back downstairs to have some of their great local cheeses and a bottle of wine. The rooms were beautifully done and they have the most comfy beds ever! We really loved the place and the safe were so nice! Thanks for everything! We'll go back!!!

My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch at the Churchill Arms. Highly recommend the huge t-bone pork and crackling! The food was divine (in all honesty, the best food I've ever had in any Cotswold eatery) and staff very attentive, friendly and happy. The refreshed decor is spot on and enhances the great atmosphere. We were also fortunate to meet Nick (chef & owner) who couldn't be more spirited and genuinely welcoming. After a lengthy period of closure, the Churchill is well and truly back at the heart of the community and deserves to be a tremendous success.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Churchill Arms. It was such a great atmosphere, wonderful food and great wine. Great to chat to Nick the Chef, Stu was very welcoming as were all the staff. Being local to the area it will become a regular that I introduce other friends and family to.
