Had a very good diner last Friday with family. The occasion was a Golden Wedding anniversary.
Food was delicious, good fish, meat and pastas.
Service is very good, helpful staff.
It's very well set up, good parking space, close to the beach of Putzu Idu (must see).
The other beautiful beach is: Is Arutas which is 15 minutes to the south.
We would recommend this restaurant.

We had an unplanned few days here. The experience was really good, however the place still feels like they are struggling with details. Both our rooms had broken showers the second was fixed immediately but it was very clear the old one had been broken a while and not had a room check. There are complimentary bikes, we reserced them but on all days other than our last (after constant checking at reception) there was a mistake with our booking so we arrived with the girls ready to go on an adventure and were simply told to come back the next day. I would come again, but would advise coming with low expectations on the four star and then hopefully they will exceed them. The local area is great and the hotel is the only one in the area offering such good access to multiple locations. Even in our few days it felt like they were starting to improve on details so perhaps just early season hiccups?

This is a gorgeous location and attended a wedding for good friends of ours.

The wedding was awesome and loads of fun and worth the trip.

The hotel was simple and did the job but wouldn't call it a four star, more of a budget three star hotel. They don't have a simple iron and iron board which is annoying when you want to get ready for a wedding which is the main purpose why people come to this location.
Food though very good and plentiful.

The hotel offered a great price end of the season last minute. They were very kind and forthcoming. We stayed in a spacious super clean and nice room. The breakfast was great. It was a bit challenging to find a restaurant which was open in October but the staff was very friendly.

I can't believe all of these positive reviews - I should have listened to the negative one. First of all, if you are driving, this is not located in the town on San Vero Mills, but in the town of Putzu Idu. It can be confusing as SVM is a town and an area.
Once we stayed here a few days I wished we had not chosen this spot. There are such better towns and beaches just north with much more to do and much prettier towns and beaches. I really see little reason to visit this town.
How this hotel has 4*, I don't know. It is fine and clean; it is just a very simple 2-3* hotel. No real services, poor sheets and pillows, rubber curtains, individual dispenser for bath tissue, etc. (They even suggest to you that the individual bath products are not for "one use" - I guess they took care of that problem as they installed the wall dispensers.)
The grounds going down to the "beach" are nice, but, in the land of gorgeous beaches, this is not one of them. It is a rock beach - not the little rocks you can walk and sit on, but rocks of several inches in diameter. And, there are two private houses right there. Not a beach you are going to spend the day on!
The people at the restaurant were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was nice. The dinners offer just a few choices in a brightly lit room - very strange setting. (Wine but no liquor service.) It was just OK. We didn't want to return more than once. The little pizza place in town is actually lovely inside (don't let the outside fool you) and has good seafood, great pizza, and is a lovely place to watch the sunset.
Quiet it is, but you would never want to just spend time in one of these rooms. If you have to stay here, ask for one of the rooms with a balcony or porch - not all of them have one.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, ask for a room with a balcony.
