This hotel is back in the woods, far from the seashore, on a large lake which can be seen from the lobby, dining rooms, first-story terrace and lounge. My room was comfortable and well maintained: no complaints from me about the upkeep. The buffet breakfast offers a nice variety. Lunch on the terrace was pleasant and the food was good. I had a steak, one companion had the Uruguayan steak sandwich (the famous "chivito uruguayo") and the other had the tuna salad and we all were pleased.

Room tip: Try to get a room on the front of the hotel overlooking the lake.

I give this Hotel 4 asterisks for its oustanding location and services. But it definitely need URGENT improvements, specially in the indoor common areas, such as restaurant, pub, fireplace. A side but an important note: coffee is extremely bad.

Room tip: Lake View!

I spent a couple of days in a company "retirement" in this hotel. Place & view are really nice (just in front of the lake), rooms are big and clean but in general hotel is quite old and certainly need a renewal (rooms, elevators, everything).
WiFi is quite bad & slow.
Food was not bad but honestly need to do something on the coffee, it was the WORST coffee I have drink in years.

Room tip: do not ask for coffee
