This property was a little hard to find. You have to turn off the main road and then drive through narrow roads to reach it. But boy did we have a pleasant surprise when we reached the property. It has all the amenities a traveler wants and more. As we drove in there was a small area in front of the reception where we could park our car. It was dark and no one was at the reception. We rang a bell there and very soon a girl came. She helped us with our luggage and lead us to our rooms. The rooms were of good size. The bathroom was large by standards with shelves and hanging for clothes. The shower had hot water that flowed instantly. Everything else was good. There was even an electronic drying rack so we could wash our clothes knowing that the rack would dry them by the next day. The room was clean with tv that has Netflix, kettle, coffee and tea. Best of all the bed could be heated with a touch of a switch. We did not know the area was that cold and so didn't bring cold stuff. So we were thankful for the heated bed. Set by the lake as its name implies, it has a tranquil atmosphere, yet at the same time not too far from civilization. The restaurant serves good food. Not exceptional but good enough. We saw the tented rooms, and even those looked good though we did not stay in them but they faced the lake which make them even more idyllic. There is also a gym and massage room. I paid IDR150000 for a massage and it was good. Problem was they had only one masseuse and we had to take turns. We all definitely enjoyed the stay.More
