Basic comfort without AC, shower, hot water...But we are used to it.
Unfortunately, the bungalows have become a public beach. During the day, Indonesians from the city come to party: horns, car parked in front of your bungalow, barbecue in front of your bungalow, big sound machine with very loud music. Impossible to relax, hard to stay.
During the night, it is even worst. Some villagers thugs party all night long (sometimes it lasts from 7pm until 1pm next day) without interruption. They setup impressive walls of speakers outside and play heavily loud music. Obviously, nobody can sleep miles around, even with ear plugs. And impossible to stop the music, the last villager who tried is dead.
To finish the picture, some afternoons it is impossible to breathe because of plastic waste fires that can last several hours.
In short, a place that can unfortunately turn into a nightmare.

We stayed only 1 night. Very simple bungalows with indonesiand toilet style. No shower in the bungalow, no hot water in resort. Staff friendly but not speaking english.
Very curios experience, but we heard that they would like to improve it
Place and beach amazing. Food very nice but not a many choices.

The Cabins are very simple, especially those that have an Indonesian style toilet. There is no hot water. The staff barely speaks English.

I do not recommend the excursions they offer at all: we booked a full day private tour to Ternate island and the boatmen didn't know what to do and speak no one word in english and as result we were back to the resort in 3 1/2 hours and with our lunchbox. Nobody at the resort can ask us about our claims due the unique person who speak english was out: this person only was the day that we'd arrive and book the trip and one afertenoon after, and when we saw her, she only said us: "sorry is the first time that the boatmen works with and I'm not the boss, because this is a public propierty and the boss is in the administration Jakarta and also don't speak any word in english"...

The best points are the friendliness of the staff and the amaizing location just in a corally beach (warning: you'll ned booties to get in/out the water.

Just in front the resort there's amazing corals that is very close to the surface when the low tides.

Room tip: Choose indonesian toilet bungalow if you preffer the views else western style

First we have stayed 4 nights and we have a great time, the food which is prepared from local ladies is delicous. you csn choose your own menu each day. We went for next 4 nights to kepa, but there you can go in the water whenever you want, therefore we moved for antoher 5 nights here. the beach is perfect. the owner is great and kind and will do everything to feel your stay as best as possibile. You can rent a scooter for 75k idr or take a taxi, they will organize everything what you need. Some bahasa indonesia is needed, if not Ike can help you out. You can find the place on booking.com. We made incredibile friends there and also the owner Mr. Onchez is really good guy.

totally recommend it and not many turist knows this destination. they are also improving the quality of bungalows each week.
