The castle setting is very pretty indeed. A lot of EU money was lavished up until 2013 in renovating the Palac as a hotel. The outbuildings form a defensive perimeter, complete with moat. There is good, safe parking inside the gates.
We used the facilities in the main building but were housed in the annexe, so can't give the fullest of information. I had a look at the pretty restaurant, which mainly serves hearty Polish food. Breakfasts were really excellent, and our set meals in that similar Polish 'winter warmer' style. Rooms were adequate in the annexe, but looked really nice in the main castle. Plenty of hot water, and controllable heating.
There is a useful little bar/cafe in the reception area. Staff were helpful but somewhat distant. I attribute this to the presence of a party of 15 English men!More
