My wife and I had opted for a 5 night stay because of the relatively long distance from Windhoek, and the fact that rhino-tracking was top of our 'activities' - where the is no guarantee of a sighting first time round.
It was desperately dry but the scenery was still as dramatic as ever, and we were fortunate with our rhino sightings - along with many giraffe, springbok, oryx etc.
The Camping2Go option suited us well, although I think the staff are not used to having someone stay for as long as 5 nights and a gentle reminder was needed about replenishing toilet rolls, emptying the dustbin etc.
We were also concerned about (a) the lack of an inventory - which Gondwana's other Camping2Go facilities do have and (b) that certain items were clearly missing - only 3 knives and 2 dinner plates and 3 tumblers whereas there was 4 of everything else. We reported the shortages and most items were replaced immediately.More
