Make sure you take the time to visit delightful Le Chaudron .
The food is fresh , the menu and choices on offer are very varied, and exciting .
We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful flavours and wonderfully presented meals .
The quality of the food is clear to see and taste .
6 of us all made different choices and each of us were extremely impressed with the delicious flavours ,attention to detail and love that went into our meals !
The whole experience was fabulous . The staff were very keen to please and go out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.
In our group was a disabled lady who Vincent helped get into the restaurant , despite it being such a busy time for him and his amazing team .
Nothing was too much trouble and we shall be returning regularly during winter and summer .
Excellence is guaranteed at this beautiful place !

If you ski on Avoriaz side it's a must to try this place!!! We've been a few times and each time the food was cooked to perfection, with an explosion of flavours and nice plating.
The staff is really friendly and hard working. Even on a busy day, they manage to make us feel welcome and make their best to deliver our order in time.
If you're a chocolate fan, i will recommend the chocolate brownie.

Highly recommend

Always one of the best places to eat in the area, fantastic welcome from Sandy, Vincent and their professional staff. Food of a consistently high standard and absolutely delicious.

Reading the review before this I can honestly say the writer must have been in a different restaurant, or there was a total misunderstanding somewhere along the line. We and all our friends and family have never been met with anything more than courtesy and efficiency from the young and enthusiastic staff. Even when they are completely run off their feet! Comes of being such a popular place to go!

Highly recommended

We travel to Morzine ,Avoriaz for many years with family and friends and have tried many restaurants on our travels. In March 2017 we visited this restaurant at lunch time. The young man serving was very rude from the start. He welcomed us and asked for our order, when we asked whether they served a particular dish he stated that they did, when we asked the price his answer was ' you have the menu- you tell me'. He then left us in mid order and stated that he would return when we were ready to order! We were half way through our order! When he returned around 10 minutes later he duly took order of drinks and food for 5 adults and 2 young children. We reminded him a few times of our order but the drinks eventually arrived after 40 minutes followed by the food! The food was average and one order being a meat dish had undercooked meat! We cancelled one of the food order after 30 minutes as the person lost her apetite. When the bill arrived they had kept the food on the bill and tried to overcharge. The whole experience was very poor and certainly the only place in the whole holiday that we can criticise. My advice is carry on past this place, it is the first you get to in the village , there are plenty of high quality restaurants further on. When we spoke to the young waiter, he was most rude and arrogant. We will continue to visit the village but give this place a wide berth.

This place is fantastic - we took 3 lunches here during our week at Morzine/Avoriaz.

It is 1 of a few restaurants in "le village des chèvres", just a little bit off one of the big meeting places in the middle of the pistes.

Food is absolutely excellent - and massive portions of it so it is hard to get up after lunch and go back to skiing !
Service is truly outstanding - those people are super friendly. After lunch they offer you their special home made digestive - a cream of caramel beurre salé laced with a solid dose of vodka.

And last but not least - the dog - one of these big mountain dogs - is fantastic

Not to be missed. When weather is nice - book ahead !!!!!
