If one likes the design or not is a question of taste. For me the concrete containers in Phuket's beautiful green landscape are nearly an environmental crime... but staff s friendly and well trained. The two restaurants are beautiful but should offer more vegetarian choices. Infinity pool s good f a swim next to the nice beach and beautiful lawn with high trees offering shade. Villas have private pool and terrace with ocean view. Rooms however are an architectural desaster, as the concrete and cheap glass construction heat up like a glasshouse oven in Thailand's sun. AC needs to be on 24/7 and all curtains must be closed to be able to cool rooms! Sun shades, energy saving building materials and heat insulating glass could save a lot of energy and cooling cost as well keep this world more environmentally friendly.

Dear DrGRO,

It's a gladness to learn that your recently visit was satisfied especially with our services from staffs, however we would carefully look into the point of variety in the vegetarian menu soonest.

The environment and nature sustainability is also a very constructive idea and value feedback. We would bring this to our consideration how we could be a part.

Best wishes,

20 minutes from Patong beach. Located nicely on Kamala hill. From the beach, the Naka resembles Rio's favela. A very nice looking (luxurious) glass house favela. :).

Stayed two nights there with my family with 8 years old niece. She enjoyed the pools, her time in Kids club with Ms Kwang (deer) & Ms Foo (crab).

I spent most the time at the Naka Spa. A very cozy spa with two very experienced therapists (ms mimi & noknoi)

Private? Not so much. We can view other rooms from balcony.

Room Tip: overseeing the beach

We booked a last minute week in the sun and didn't know what to expect after reading some of the reviews on here.

We were delayed from London so arrived quite late in the evening. The staff at check-in were friendly and immediately got us to our room. When we got to the room it was a relief! Amazing villa, clean and great WiFi. We were pretty hungry and as it was late and thought very little chance of getting dinner. Called reception and this was organised immediately at the restaurant and a buggy was there within minutes.

The next day thankfully we were not disappointed, amazing views and realised we had made the right decision.

Overall, amazing stay, fantastic staff, great housekeeping, cool villa and a smart TV you can use!!!!

Taxis are not cheap but compared to western prices we can't complain and at least they are friendly, everyone has to make a living, you can't expect to get a cab and pay peanuts for it !

The only feedback is that it could do with a lick of varnish and bit of external work, but I guess in a tropical country the outside will wear quick.

The mini bar is great but the price you pay, get a bottle of wine in there for non beer drinkers. We will be back before the end of 2017 and makes it an easy choice for a last minute week away. And expect a bottle of wine in there

Thanks to all the team and see you again.

We stayed for 2 nights as we are on our honeymoon .. we reached almost 7 AM and they told us that their check in is at 12:00 PM and our flight was 10 hours trip so we were exhausted .. i was going to faint and i have vomit and still they didn't let us into our room and when we saw our room it was nothing like the picture and we upgraded to the beach front room it was better near the restaurant but still nothing like the picture also we are honeymooners and we mentioned that when we booked the bed was like any bed no welcoming decorations .. in the same day we had a problem with the toilet flushing it was broken it took them ages to come and fix it .. breakfasting at our room was a joke in a bento box and it looked cheap for what we have paid for the hotel in general .. the staff were friendly i have to say that but the hotel in general lacked for maintenance really they should look after that .. food was okay i liked the seabass innthe skylounge but spa was a joke 7000 phat .. i give the hotel 3.5 stars only and 2 nights is more than enough.. if you want to go to patong peach from the hotel they will charge you 600 phat which is aloooot we took tuk tuk in the way back from patong with 400 phat

It's really a beautiful resort. The pool villas are modern and comfortable and with an amazing view. The infinity pool is so nice and the service is top. the only negative aspect is the beach because there are big stones in the water and its difficult to get to swim in the sea.
