The outside of hotel may make people worry about the quality but overall I think this hotel worth visit and revisit. The most advantage of this hotel is personal hot spring which I can refill anytime. The room is cosy and have normal hotel equipped tools and gadgets. The location is another plus. It is close to the mrt train station and the next door of hotel is supermarkets. The staff is friendly. The breakfast isn't bad. The only minus is the carpet. It wasn’t sparking clean. Anyone visit should wear sleepers when walking afound.

The room was well appointed; arrived from Taoyuan Airport after a flight from Chengdu, China; arrived close to midnight. I took a taxi and cost 1,165 NTD ($37.60 USD) at 31:1. The hotel does not look like the picture shown here. Initial appearance looked like a dumpy hotel, but once up to the third floor not the case. Very nice and clean. The hot spring tub hit the spot after a 3.5 hour flight and with an 11 hour flight coming up the day after arrival. The breakfast buffet was good with eggs and other items both Asian and Western. The next time here I will likely stay at another spa hotel the one I originally intended to stay at higher up the hill. This hotel is close to Xinbeitou Metro rail station a major plus; a McDonalds and Starbucks next door and a KFC across the street. A nice park is also directly across the street. The Taipei Metro Rail system offers low cost travel cards NTD 148 24 hour, 257 48 hour and 368 for 72 hours, unlimited travel a good deal ($4.77, $8.29 and $11.87 USD respectively) at 32:1 exchange rate.

Room tip: Interior rooms away from the street are quietest.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The only reasons you should choose this hotel are: it is near to xinbeitou station and hotspring in the room. The hotel is dated & very rundown. Room badly needs to be refurbished. Carpet is old and has a musky smell. Fridge is rusty. The bedsheet, pillow cases & quilt cover are not crisp. Not sure if they have been changed before we checked in. Layout of room is not thoughtful. The TV is placed at an awkward angle on the left side of the bed instead of directly in front of the bed. Can't watch TV comfortably lying in bed. No power points next to the bed. No aircon temperature control in the room. Not a pleasant stay overall!

This Spring Resort is quite well located with Metro station, restaurants, attractions all nearby. This provided a very huge plus point to our stay in Beitou.

Our room is huge and clean, although it looks quite old fashion with 2 huge dark colour sofa. Nevertheless we enjoyed the space we had, and also the hot spring bath inside the huge bath room.

Breakfast was less impressive with limited dishes but was sufficient to start the day.

Staffs were helpful during our check in and out. One even made good recommendation for a Japanese dining nearby which we were very satisfied.

The photos posted by other travelers pretty much sums up everything.

Room is normal. However, soundproofing is extremely terrible.. You can literally hear your next door Neighbour talking, people quarreling downstairs, draining of water from the tub, etc. Definitely not recommended for light sleepers.

That aside, the toilet provides all the amenities that you need and the mineral hot spring water is a good experience.

Final verdict.. I’ll give this hotel a miss if I were to visit Beitou again. There are tons of hot spring hotels around the area, and I’ll give the other hotels a chance to earn my money..
