It is about 10 minutes to the hotel from the railway station.
The staffs are friendly and able to provide information on how to travel around.

I was staying for one night only and book via travel agent. The staff is friendly , will assist in helping to take the luggage when you arrive . Nice and cozy room , though not very spacious.

Located just a short walk from Tainan’s TRA train station (not HSR) near to the city centre, this hotel was convenient for a short stay in Tainan.
The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Laundry facilities were available on the roof for a small fee.
I stayed at the Dynasty hotel in Tainan for one night in may 2018.
The hotel is an older one, but still quite charming decoration inside. The location is very central, about 5 mins walk from the Tainan train station. From here you can take the train to the HSR High speed rail station - the ride is about 25 minutes and the ticket is 25 NTD (about 0.8 USD).
The room was very clean and had the all basic amenities needed. The bed was not one king size bed, but rather two single beds put together with a mattress on top.
The staff was nice, and they had two young men opening the door when guests entered the hotel, bidding them welcome - this was a nice touch.
I paid 1700 NTD (about 57 USD) for a business double room.
A good experience and I would definitely stay again should I return to Tainan.

We only stayed her for one night as we were passing through from Taipei to Tainan. It's around a bit minute walk from the train station and is easy to find. Staff on reception are friendly and polite, happy to help if needed. The room was a good size, comfortable bed and clean. The bathroom was a little dated but was clean and well equipped. Cannot comment on breakfast as we didn't have it included in our stay.

Good option quite close to Tainan station, approximately 7 mins walk straight down the road leading from the station. Very easy to find. The room was excellent value for the price I paid - spacious, comfortable and quite new. Soundproofed. The staff weren't very useful when I asked for dining recommendations but apart from that check-in and check-out were smooth. There are lots of convenience stores nearby for breakfast and a cafe across the road. Wifi worked well. Make sure you get a room with a window!
