We decided on this hotel on a lark and were pleasantly surprised. They ran out of the standard Double Room which we had booked (which at 500 sq feet would have been plenty of room) so they put us in a two bedroom suite with living room and powder room (they locked one bedroom as we did not need it).
The rooms were huge. The bedroom was intended for 4 and came with its own sitting area complete with coffee table and view of the mountains. Same view from the living room which also came wuth enormous flat screen TV, and mini bar with free stuff. Only downside was bath room which looked rather ancient.
It's called the Music Villa as you can borrow up to 3 CDs at any time to play on the in-room sound system which came with 2 standing Klipsch speakers. Delightful.
They do a decent breakfast too although it ends a little too early at 10 am. The staff speak good English too which gave us temporary relief from our efforts to converse in Mandarin.
Would visit again if the ride up the mountain complete with narrow winding roads were not so arduous.More
