Stayed there for a night and really enjoyed the stay. When I reached, it was still early for check in. Left our luggage there and went to Cing Jing Farm and explore around. The hosts were so friendly and they kept addressing me by my name, which I felt was a great effort to even remember your customer’s name. They have a very cute bulldog there as well. They helped us to carry up our luggage, which were heavy and helped us bring them down when we checked out too. The room is spacious, with a good view as well. The bed is comfortable and as we were there during winter season, it was really cold. But feat not, they have an electric heater for the blanket which made it so comfortable. We ate our dinner there as well. The yunnan dishes were so generous in portion and delicious in taste. Minsu is located just a few minutes walk from 7-eleven stores and Mos burger and a few other eateries. When we checked out, the host was also very sweet to give us a small gift- a box of Tea. Highly recommended!

We booked early and requested for lower floor room. Was a perfect stay from start to end. The owner is so warm and motherly; she kindly arranged for our luggage to be brought up to our rooms, and arranged transport for us to visit Cingjing farm that afternoon. Unfortunately during our visit the Swiss Garden and Carton King were undergoing renovations.. but we still had a wonderful afternoon nevertheless having tea at the nearby Nana cafe. The walk back from Cingjing farm has a trail that stops right at the base near Misty Villa - I believe this is one of the more accessible minsu, the rest look further up the hill. We opted for the home cooked dinner (TWD 300 per pax) - which was so homey and wonderful - a whole fish for the two of us! Plus soup, chicken drumsticks, steamed egg, veg, minced meat with lettuce wrap. Breakfast was a decent spread of toast, eggs, porridge and condiments, noodles etc.

The rooms were lovely, such a beautiful view of the Cingjing area and surrounding mountains. We brought the rocking chair out to the porch to admire the view. The bed comes with heated blanket so we were kept quite warm :)

The place is wheelchair friendly, the stairs between their first floor (lobby), second floor (dining area) and third floor (lowest rooms) have automatic stair lift. Hubby and I already planning to bring our parents here for a family trip next time.

Oh and one might meet niuniu their adorable bulldog! First met her basking in the sun on their second floor dining room patio

This is my second time staying in misty villa and this time the minsu delivered once again!

My family and I visited in November 2016. Due to my parents’ old age, it was difficult for them to climb up the stairs to the third level in one of the minsu’s buildings. However, the minsu operators were meticulous enough to notice this and offer to drive my family to the building (which is up on a hill) whenever we were back in the minsu.

Will highly recommend this minsu to families going to cingjing for a trip!

Misty villa is a specialty lodging (locally called minsu). It's my first minsu experience and I quite liked it. The place was nicely and warmly designed, and the host of the minsu Nina was friendly. As I was afraid that it will be quite chilly, I opted for the luxury double (with heater and electric blanket) for my parents and wonderland room for myself (electric blanket). On arrival we upgraded my parents room to a higher category. Somehow the electric heater in the room, while looks very nice, was not very functional in both our rooms. Also the small bath tub in the luxury double was wobbly and quite hard to shower, will actually be nice if they install shower curtains to keep the water from wetting the rest of the toilet (whereby the tiles are quite slippery). Location wise ,it's quite good. Very near cingjing farm and walking distance to an eatery mall with 7-11, mos burger, Starbucks etc. recommended!

Had a night stay @ Misty villa where location is very convenient with just 5 minutes walk from 7-11/starbucks/mos burger and tourist attractions such as little swiss garden and cardboard king. Room was clean and spacious with exception of a worm found in the room. Great mountain view and fresh air from the balcony. Simple breakfast was provided as well. Hosts were friendly to strike conversations with and helpful with the enquiries raised. They have a bulldog there too! Overall a great stay and will be there again.
