As it's a top ranked hotel in Taoyuan area according to another hotel booking website, I got a pretty high expectation but eventually it could not be fully met.

The conceirge is located at 5th floor of a commercial building and the signage on the building shows "e91 hotel" but not "191 hotel". This may make non Mandarin speaking tourists confused.

Though we arrived a bit early at around 1:30pm, the room was ready and the check-in was quick.

The staff is very polite and helpful.

The room is tidy and clean which I greatly appreciated.

However the WiFi reception and air-conditioning in the room made me feel disappointed. The WiFi signal was quite unstable which I failed to have video chat with my family. Although it was set to keep warm, the room temperature shown on the monitor just kept dropping. I was quite sure that the windows were already closed.

All in all, it's still an acceptable option given its convenient location and low price.

Stayed there for a night in mid October as a stop before we headed to Tai Chung. The hotel lobby is located at the 5th floor. Simple breakfast was provided at the 5th floor cafe too. We booked Deluxe Quadruple Room for a couple with two young kids. The room is spacious enough to accommodate us. It's clean and comfy. However, the sound proof wasn't as good.

On Aug. 2nd I had a layover in Taiwan and decided to book this hotel because of the ratings and it's distance to Taoyuan International Airport.

I had a late-night check-in which was no problem for the staff. They handled it with ease. I found my room to be very clean and the bed to be firm (exactly the way I like it). Although the exterior of the building doesn't seem much like a hotel, once you arrive on the lobby floor and are shown to the reception area, suddenly you are transformed this "hidden" e91 hotel world." The rooms have very cute wall paper and all the basic amenities you could imagine.

The next morning when I checked out, I noticed there was even a nice breakfast area and almost thought about adding on a breakfast for (I think) 120 TWD. Very reasonable! but since I needed to get back to the airport, I decided to check out and get directions to the bus stop. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and showed me exactly how to get to the bus stop which was very close by. Unfortunately, due to traffic or some other problem, the bus never came. So I decided to walk back to the hotel and try to catch a taxi instead.

Walking back to the hotel, the same front desk staff member who had given me directions was walking walking outside the street and happened to notice me and came over and asked if everything was alright. I explained that the bus was late and wanted to catch a taxi instead. "No problem. Let me take care of everything," he said. Later I found out that he had just gotten off his work shift and was heading home, but instead of going home he came over and assisted me by calling a taxi and waiting with me until the taxi arrived. Once the taxi arrived, he explained everything to the taxi driver and made sure I would get taken to the correct terminal at the airport and set the taxi fare for me. I was so impressed by how kind, courteous and professional this hotel staff member was (not to mention his excellent English). He really went out of his way for me and made my trip back to the airport so easy. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Incredible customer service.
