Nicely located in the middle of the village, at a minute walking from any shop, restaurant or attraction.
It’s clean and with a helpful and friendly staff. Maybe not the cheapest, but surely an ok stay.
It does just have one elevator, so it might take a while if there are some group while you’re there.

Nice looking and spacious room and bathroom but it was very smelly! Not sure if it’s mold from the shower which was leaking or polish on the wood but the entire room had a bad smell. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. They go the extra mile. The roof top has perfect view of Sun Moon Lake. We would certainly go back. Car park is few steps away. No worries about that. The restaurant on 9the floor has also great views
We had 3 nights at this hotel right in the centre of the township overlooking Sun Moon Lake. It was right in the centre of town for the night markets every night which was just great. The night market finishes early so no issue with noise. Breakfast was on the top floor of the hotel with the most amazing view of Sun Moon Lake. Western options for breakfast were a little limited but enough for what we wanted. You just walked 3 minutes down the street to get to the jetty to go for a lake cruise or visit other areas on the lake. There was a lakeside path that took you to the ropeway just 10 minutes away and was a lovely walk along the lake shore.
Our room had modern décor and was of adequate size which had everything you needed. Bathroom was really quite big with a great shower and mirror area
A huge room with king size beds. That's what we like and Einhan Resort in the Sun Moon Lake area has just that. Unfortunately it's one of those catch-the-bus-hotels where hordes of mainland brothers and sisters stay just one night, finish all the breakfast buffet and make a lot of noise. Staff is willing and very helpful, but can't fight this attitude. Location's fine, nice restaurants around the corner.
We opted for a double room so it was quite large by Taiwanese standards; the twin rooms might be slightly smaller. The room also has a small tatami area where you can sit and relax. The street outside the hotel also has several stall selling street food. We tried a stall selling millet mochi, and it was delicious!
The location of the hotel is also convenient, being within a 5 minutes walking distance to the Yidashao Wharf, where you can take a yacht out to see the Sun Moon Lake. There is also an observatory at the roof of the hotel building, but the views are somewhat obscured by other buildings in front of it, so I would recommend taking the 5 minute walk down to the wharf instead.
