Relatively quick check in and a very quick check out makes this stay maybe not the last time I visit Kuva. The bell boy, who was a lady, guided us in the right direction for good Beef Noodle on our arrival, and in general the staff was service minded and polite. Room was spacey and bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet worked fine.

After any trip we always book a "luxury" hotel with a pool close to the airport before our long journey home. We were surprised by the distance from the airport as were told it was a short MTR ride then a short walk which ended up being almost an hour. We were then asked for payment and even through the payment had been pre-authorised 3 times during the 2 weeks previously and was still pending on our account, I was told I needed to pay again. We were given directions to our room and were immediately impressed. The room 1002 was amazing. The biggest bed ever and the best TV. Within 10 mins however we both realised there was a constant noise like a loud rumbling. After looking at the room map we realised it was the lift. Any room ending in 02 in tower A backs onto the lift and as we had a long flight we wanted to get as much sleep as possible before. We went to reception and were given the option of another room which was very nice and quiet but definitely felt like a downgrade from our original room. We enjoyed our night however and slept well. We checked out and confirmed we could store our luggage and use the pool. We were advised this was ok however when we went to the pool with intentions of having a drink and a relax before our flight, our food and drink was confiscated and we were followed around the changing rooms and pool area at all times even though we were the only guests there. This was very uncomfortable and we felt like as we had checked out we were no longer welcome and we felt looked down on as we had backpacks. We ended up sitting at the airport for 2 hours before we could check in as we just couldnt stay in the hotel any longer.
