Hotel was fine. It was probably state of art in 1990 but now not so much. Dated room control systems, hard to adjust ac. Rooms are spacious and were clean. Weird collection of furnishings. Room was super dark, no windows?

The hotel offers huge rooms for that price. About 5 mins walk from Jiannan Road MRT (along the same line as Taipei Zoo and Maokong Gondola), the hotel room facilities are awesome.
Booked the executive room that comes with a king size bed, living area with 2 sofas and TV, in room jacuzzi tub, steam room and shower area. The TV can be rotated to face either the jacuzzi tub or bed. Very spacious room to be exact. The breakfast buffet has limited choices but Taiwan is never short of good place to eat.
It is also about 5 mins walk to Miramar shopping centre.

Check in is at 3pm. Check out at 12noon.

Good place just to try out cos it is a little bit out of the way from places like ximending or shilin night markets.

This hotel has been renamed as Bellezza Hotel Taipei. It has the biggest hotel room I've ever seen! 17 steps to walk from the hotel room entrance to the toilet door. Comes with standing living area, shower room, toilet cubicle and jacuzzi big enough for 2! I booked only the Deluxe room which is 580sqft. The executive room is the biggest at 880sqft. Rates are extremely reasonable for this size. Hotel is old but relatively clean. It's spaciousness makes up for everything else. It's highly accessible, just 3 mins walk from Jiannan station which is about 8 stations away from Ximending. The adjacent block has Mos Burger, Sushi restaurants and pharmacy. Carrefour is also nearby so it's very convenient. There's also a food court in the Carrefour building. Breakfast provided is not fantastic though.

ISIS Taipei Boutique is same as Bellezza Taipei hotel. I still don't quite understand the difference.

Our last stay was year 2012. This nov our taiwan self-drive vacation, kids remembered they had fun in Modern theme room (karaoke-neon floor), big Jacuzzi, free snacks, in-room service...and requested to stay at same hotel again. And our family 5pax, not many hotels can accommodate us in one room.

This trip, we stayed two nights on 2 different dates. 1st night stay was exact same layout as previous year. 2nd night was same theme but different layout. Both layout are huge, equally comfortable. EXCEPT 2nd room , i notice there was crack on floor. hmmm...time for some touchup! Same buffet breakfast style, nothing fancy.

Huge room even has extra sofa etc..so extra bed for 5pax wasn't necessary for us but needed for headcount & breakfast. They do provide bottle water, toiletries, towel, slipper for the 5th pax etc.

Modern Theme room lighting is dim (i would describe as "karaoke" style). Bathroom has no lock, glass panel door, absolutely no shelve, you literally walk out nude, get towel & wear your clothes. So be mindful when travelling with family. :)

Bellazza & ISIS Taipei hotel is located at Jiannan road station about 3 minute walk across the road (Convenient location and within walking distant to Huge Ferry Wheel). I have book my room under Executive Suite-Classic Egypt theme, after the check-in the room is full of smoke smell and immediate call reception request for change room, they offer upgrade us into Presidential Suite-Classic Egyptian and their action was really efficient.
After the room change, room was great but too spacious! Room key system is totally sucks!!! Light have blackout for more than 3 time+!!! And air-con is not enough supply for this spacious room (WARM)!! with a noisy air-con sound!!! Room do not come with window, have complaint these to the reception but nothing much they can do.
Lastly think twice if you would like to book this hotel, due to the room have too much reflection mirror, i could even feel there is some spirit (ghost) in the room!!!

Room Tip: 70% Rooms don't come with a window, would recommend you to call in reserve for a window room.
