This is probably the best restaurant in taipei in my opinion. 10 courses of exquisite japanese food well worth the 2 michelin stars. They should get 3. Menu changes with each season so we try to go each season

Service-
We were warmed by great hospitality and the service is great till the end. AWESOME!

Enjoy Japanese cruise using local Taiwanese food with artistry. The courses are served with arts!
Love the sake and wine pairing, especially with these beautiful glasses! Though the Taiwanese beer with fried fish is soso.

Food-
Started as beautiful dish but taste was moderate.
After first 2 dishes I was disappointed, but starting with "Ayu" everything was yummy!
One of my favorite was the pigeon! One of the best I ever had!

Desset was soso for a Michelin restaurant, the mango is interesting but brown sugar lotus seed was just sweet.

Overall we had a great night at RyuGin with tummy full!
Is it worth to come again? Maybe just for the pigeon and fish... But hopefully the dessert will be better.

Outstanding. Staff was attentive and understood every dish. Every dish was nicely decorated and tasted good. Some tasted real good, esp the eel. I am not a big fan of rice but it tasted so good that I asked for another small bowl. Nothing to complain except the price lol

This is always a special treat. Ryugin tokyo has a branch in taipei and hongkong each. Choice of 6 or 10 courses, all remarkable, whether it's fish or meat or vegetables. The main of duck is the best duck i've ever tasted

The food here is an artistry. Years of experience and craftmanship went into designing each element of the restaurant . Chef pays hommage to the ingredients around him and makes the best of it. Courses by courses were spot on.

Wine list was abundant , the selection has very rare labels and the service was warm.
