We stayed only one night at this hotel and we liked. The rooms are very big, clean and nice decorated, with big and comfortable bed, and balcony with nice views. Breakfast was very good, with enough salty products (in Italy several hotels offer just sweet products at breakfast and I'm desperate) and friendly staff helped us with all what we wanted to drink.
We didn't have time to try the pool and Spa but we've seen them and it looks good for a Spa. The hotel is near many good restaurants and taverns and near Montevicoli Cave, a small but very interesting cave. We had a pleasant stay here and we will return.

We stayed only for one night but was very disappointed with our stay. On arrival was told the pool was closed due to that they were holding a function, we was not pleased as we only booked the hotel because they have a pool because we have two children. They did offer we could use it up to 16:00, we check in at 14:00 so we had use of the pool for only two hours. Not sure if it is a 4* star or 5* but it felt more like a 2-3 star*

On a positive side the staff tried to do their best to accommodate the guests and obviously do not have any control over the bad management. I arrived at 10 pm . The hotel has probably only a couple of rooms occupied . The corridors were dark and the motion sensors were not working . It was very uncomfortable to search for a room in complete darkness . And the smell!!! It was the worst mold smell I have experienced in any hotel around the world (and I visited many) . The breakfast was pitiful continental packaged muffins and cereals. In Italy...Until the management fixes this property , you will be better staying elsewhere . Check my review of the B&B in Polignano di Mare
