The most important thing we consider in choosing a hotel is location. That is the main selling point of this hotel. The limousine bus from the airport stops right in front of this hotel (if going to the airport, the pickup point is across the street). So even if you have a lot of luggage, it is not difficult to get to the hotel. There is a Family Mart right beside it. Sakae and Fushimi stations are close by. There are many shopping malls and restaurants within walking distance. I also liked that they have a triple room available (not too many in Nagoya when I was searching the internet) which was perfect for our needs.
On the down side, the room is just big enough for the beds. There is no cabinet for clothes, no safe for your valuables, no bottled water provided (they said that the water from the sink was potable). Pillows were small and hard. And in this hotel, you have to tell them if you want the room cleaned. In other hotels, the default would be they would clean your room unless you put a “Do Not Disturb” sign outside the door. But here, they don’t clean your room unless you hang the “Please make up room” sign.
The front desk staff was also disappointing. I asked for help with making lunch reservations (the website was in Japanese) and was refused.More
