The Ritz in Tokyo definitely lives up to its name. It is a high-end luxury hotel, with wonderful service, real attention to detail, and all the comforts one could want traveling far from home. It is Tokyo-expensive, but as long as you’re prepared for the price tag, it’s a really pleasant experience.
The rooms are on high floors, affording spectacular views of the city both day and night. The staff is exceptionally attentive, and reasonably bi-lingual. The rooms are very well appointed, with all the comforts one would want in a luxury hotel.
My only criticism (and it’s a minor one) is that the in-room TV could offer more international fare. Other than that an extremely pleasant and luxurious experience.More
