We walked to this outlet from Westin Tokyo, took about 15 mins. There was no crowd when we arrived at 7:30pm. The ramen and soup stock is Ippudo standard, and the gyoza was well done.

our first meal in Japan-- and it set the bar high! Wasn't able to find ramen to top this place. Any Ippudo branch restaurant is must-have in Japan.

Although part of a chain restaurant, Ippudo in Ebisu manages to keep excellent and tasty ramen: I usually take either the "shiromaru" type or the more spicy ramen. Noodles are thin and you can have them cooked al dente (futsu or normal), soft or hard. On top of the noodles, you will have thin slices of pork meat (chashu) all in a delicious broth which is the secret of Ippudo as it remains light in taste contrary to many other ramen.
The place is just a standard ramen place but clean and the service is efficient.
A place I definitively recommend to those who like ramen.
And if one bowl is not enough, you can order additional noodles for about 200¥ or some very good small fried dumplings (gyoza) which come with a delicious yuzu based sauce.
Price is reasonable : less than 1000¥ for a good bowl of ramen and additional noodles.

Ordered the Shiromaru Classic. The broth alone was excellent! Get it with a soft-boiled egg as additional topping, and pair with some gyoza.

Delicious light broth with pork pieces. Friendly service. Grab a few beers. Add some goyza on the side. And you're ready for a great time! Would definitely go back! They're open late too!
