Popular ramen in Shinjuku. Sardine-flavoured ramen. But first need to queue outside the eatery in a squeezed alley. It was more squeezy inside the 10-seater eatery. But the staff are polite. Order through the vending machine, guided by the staff. Order any size and it costs the same. Realised that males and females are seated apart.

Hard to track this place down if you don't know what to look for, however later in the evening you'll spot the queue.

Food was good and served quickly, bit odd ordering from the machine but all part of the experience. It's very small inside so give that a thought if you have bags etc.

We had to queue down the tiny alley way beside the shop to get in. It is tiny inside and can only seat 10 people at most. The ramen was very good. Definite sardine flavour for them all. It is an experience eating in a little local place like this. You pay the same price no matter what size bowl you get.

This tiny traditional Ramen bar is superb. The ramen is heavily flavoured with sardine and has a unique and slightly acquired taste but it's well worth trying. Don't come expecting western style. It's local, it's authentic and tiny, did I mention it was really tiny?

Great authentic Japanese noodle soup! I am Asian so I love the soup with pronounced (but not strong) salty fish taste. The best so far in Tokyo. Definite recommendation!

We had 9 people in our party and the place is a hole in the wall, so we ate separately. There was a long line of customers waiting their turns, when we left the place.
