The stay was pleasant. I had booked in another hotel, but due to a problem they sent me here, giving me a room upgrade for free. Large and perfect room for a family of 4. Perfect, courteous staff, excellent communication.
If you are looking for an apartment with an English-speaking reception, for a large family, Mimaru is the right choice.
If I really have to find a flaw, it's the cleanliness. The headboard had flakes of dust before we arrived and never dusted in 2 weeks.

Lots of space in good location from which to explore Tokyo. We had a 1 bedroom suite for 2 adults and 3 kids, plenty of room for us. It was clean and well equipped. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The location is good, close to subway and overground railway stations, plus a hop-on, hop-off bus route. Lots of local places to eat out and there is a department store with a food hall and also a supermarket if you want to eat in. Close to Akihabara and also Asakusa, but the subway and trains make it easy to get around to the rest of Tokyo too. Ueno Park is a short walk away with its museums too.

Stayed for 7 nights in mid-Dec 2023 in a one-bedroom apartment. There were 5 of us and it was a good size for all of us! It was really nice to have a fully-stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, even a rice cooker. We were also able to borrow a Balmuda toaster from reception, which is great. The room was very comfortable and spacious, which is a great find in Tokyo.
Location is very good and near many stations on different lines: it's about 7-10 mins walk to Okachimachi (JR), 5 mins to Ueno Hirokoji station (Ginza line) and Yushima station (Chiyoda line).
Would definitely stay here again if traveling with a large group!

The female staff was phenomenal! They went above and beyond to make my stay fantastic. I forgot a bathing suit and one of the ladies referred me to a place. ( they don't sell bathing suits there like they do here so it would have been difficult) Saya helped arrange a Thai massage for me, aided with the translation and making sure I picked an appropriate place for women (if you get my meaning). I casually mentioned to Saya that the massage was my birthday present and she went over the top to make me feel special : ) All the staff wished me a happy birthday that evening and she must have told the other staff because I received well wishes the next morning even though Saya wasn't there.
Location was fantastic (so close to many transport options) and loved having laundry there.
The only thing that surprised me is that we arrive at 1ish for check in and the gentleman told me my room was ready and did I want to pay an extra 5000 Yen to check in or store the luggage. No problem we stored went to lunch and came back. Not a complaint, but information.

Superb location. Nearest station is on Ginza line , make it easier for tourists to travel major tourists site. Heaps of restaurants, stores n shops surrounding. Hotel room is nice n clean, contemporary design with touch of Japanese. Hotel stuff are super friendly n also fluent in multi languages. Couldn’t be happier n will definitely stay again next time.
