They've thought of everything, and super value!

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 19 Jan 2024
This place is superb value! You get breakfast which you can exchange for take away items if you're leaving very early - it's the thought that counts. The heated toilet and bidet are fantastic. The pyjamas are cute. We were between flights so had no suitcases and even so the room felt a bit cramped - but small rooms are pretty much standard anyway. The decor is quite worn but everything works. Reception is helpful and has free amenities to take to your room. Word of advice - the Asakusa station you see across the street is just for the Tsukuba Express. Metro station is 10 minutes walk away. Also you need an extension cord if you want to charge your phone next to the bed. Worth it to explore that side of town even though the 'hotspots' are some way away.

I stayed here for 4 nights whilst in Tokyo. I had a double room and at 5ft and 46kg found it adequate for myself but would not want to share the room.
Spotless and the quietest hotel i have ever stayed in. Though clearly very busy. I never heard another sole whilst in my room. So sleeping was a breeze.
Breakfast was included it was great the first day by day 4 still the same. It was adequate to fuel you to start your day and good value included in the room price
Asakusa is a beautiful traditional area. 4 minutes walk and you are at sensoji temple. Viewing it at night lit up is stunning. The small streets are filled with restaurants and shops. Whilst Lawson and 7/11 are right there and a big super market for anything you may need. You can walk along the sumida river or run if inclined. Also you can catch a water bus directly to the Huma Rikyu Gardens which was a lovely way to get into the city and view Tokyo from a different perspective.
The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star review was it was a 35 - 45 min trek to most other tourist sights there and then back again each day. Though i must say i did find return ing to the peace ofAsakusa after being at the shibuyu crossing was heaven…
The greatest asset for this hotel are amazing staff. They went above and beyond to help. Nothing was too much effort. Highly recommend if you don’t mind a trek home you will be welcomed to a beautiful location and see a more authentic side of Tokyo.

The location of the hotel is great. If you driving make sure is a small car. My car is a mid size the hotel carpark can't park, so I have to park at the near by public carpark @$2400/day as it is a weekend. Overall the hotel is great, free breakfast. Will recommand to stay.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in January 2020. Booked for 2 economy twin rooms.

Check in was fast and easy. You can check in by yourself or can have hotel staff assists you.

Room is small, Tokyo standard. The hotel has air purifier/humidity controller but the filter needed to be clean more regularly since lot of dust was stuck in there. Bed is comfortable and clean.

There is no electricity outlet near the bed, got to charge your things on TV desk. Please make sure you have proper type of adapter for the outlets.

Breakfast is included in the room rate or you may choose not to. Buffet breakfast is 1,430 yen. Selections were modest but adequate.

Location is great, right opposite the Asakusa View Hotel that Narita Limousine Bus make a stop there. Big supermarkets (Life, Seiyu) arein a few minutes walk. Donqi and Asakusa Rox are around the corner and Senso-Ji Temple is about 5-6 minutes walk.

Restaurants are plenty. Famous Ichiran Ramen is just in the back alley of the hotel. Please beware that most of Izakaya-style restaurants are allowed customers to smoke inside the restaurant.

My brother and I stayed here during the week we spent in Tokyo in early January 2020 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very well located close to many main attractions. The outside of the hotel looks clean and modern. The inside is also quite nice. The rooms certainly are small, but mine was actually bigger than I had expected based on my prior trips to Japan. I'm about 6'1 and was worried about the bed being too small, but it was absolutely fine. The breakfast in the morning was great with lots of fresh options to pick from and the staff was super accommodating when my brother and I tended to rush in right before closing. One day I stepped outside the hotel and ran back in because it was pouring rain. The staff took notice and provided me with two umbrellas without me even having to ask! I didn't find any water fountains or anything like that, but ice machines are present, so if bottled water is your thing, you may want to get some from the 7-Eleven nearby. There was no gym in the building. There was just enough space in the room that I was able to keep my large suitcase open the whole time, while this sounds minor, the next hotel I stayed at was so small that I had to keep packing it up whenever I'd leave the room so that the cleaning staff could easily access the room. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet, and the washrooms are very well equipped. The toilets are modern and have heated seats and integrated bidet/spray options. The bathroom mirror has a section that doesn't fog up from the shower's steam. The shower had great water pressure and heat. For the price I found this was a really great stay.

Room tip: Consider booking two separate rooms instead of getting one room with two beds if you're 2 people. We found it to be worthwhile.

Asakusa is a really beautiful location in Tokyo, full of attractions to visit on foot from this hotel, not to mention there's many restaurants and convenience stores open 24/7 all around. This hotel is a 2-min walk away from a train station, and less than a 10-min walk from the closest subway station.
The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and even if the room's small just like most hotels in Japan, it wasn't cramped and we managed just fine. You can actually choose whether you want your room to be thoroughly cleaned every day, or if you want an "eco" service (i.e. just have your sheets and toiletries replaced), so you get a bottle of water in return. The room and bathroom have everything you need, from the amazing Japanese toilet with the bidet spray, to the kettle with green tea bags next to the mini-fridge.
There's also a self-service laundry room, so if you travel light like me, you can wash and dry your clothes at any time of the day, by just paying for the detergent.
Even if the staff couldn't speak English very well beyond what was needed for check in, we managed to communicate just the same and they were all very nice and helpful.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a clean, convenient and efficient stay in Tokyo.
