I stayed here for 4 nights whilst in Tokyo. I had a double room and at 5ft and 46kg found it adequate for myself but would not want to share the room.
Spotless and the quietest hotel i have ever stayed in. Though clearly very busy. I never heard another sole whilst in my room. So sleeping was a breeze.
Breakfast was included it was great the first day by day 4 still the same. It was adequate to fuel you to start your day and good value included in the room price
Asakusa is a beautiful traditional area. 4 minutes walk and you are at sensoji temple. Viewing it at night lit up is stunning. The small streets are filled with restaurants and shops. Whilst Lawson and 7/11 are right there and a big super market for anything you may need. You can walk along the sumida river or run if inclined. Also you can catch a water bus directly to the Huma Rikyu Gardens which was a lovely way to get into the city and view Tokyo from a different perspective.
The only reason this wasn’t a 5 star review was it was a 35 - 45 min trek to most other tourist sights there and then back again each day. Though i must say i did find return ing to the peace ofAsakusa after being at the shibuyu crossing was heaven…
The greatest asset for this hotel are amazing staff. They went above and beyond to help. Nothing was too much effort. Highly recommend if you don’t mind a trek home you will be welcomed to a beautiful location and see a more authentic side of Tokyo.
