Hotel is located at convenient location, just across from Asakusa station. Convenience stores, shopping, restaurants and Sensō-ji are nearby. Room was clean and good size for 3 people (hotel rooms in Tokyo in general). The nice part is the sink and toilet are separate from the bathroom so no one has to wait for each other. Easy check in and out.

This was just what we wanted - quality hotel, reasonably priced in a good location. Our corner room was large and in very good condition - plus a view of Senso-ji temple. Breakfast was good, but does get busy - best to go early then no waiting. Free coffee is available throughout the day. Staff were delightful and couldn’t do more for you. We could leave our luggage for free both before check-in and after check-out.
Location was great, being next to the Asakusa transport hub and loads of restaurants.

I loved this room! It’s expensive but for a one- night treat it was fab! This room was Hello Kitty heaven: pink toilet paper, wallpaper and decor, bedding, even the kettle! Pity the cups and coasters weren’t though. The room was a great size with 4 large beds and a table with four chairs which could make it more affordable for a family or group of friends. There were even Hello Kitty slippers and we were given a lovely gift bag of Hello Kitty goodies upon check-in ( which we were allowed to do really early). It is in a great location, right into the district and round the corner from the Senso-Ji temple and Nakamise shopping street. It was a two minute walk from the station and at night, the walk along the river was nice with a great view of the Skytree. My only gripes were that there were no teaspoons in the room or soap in the small cloakroom sink. There was no view from the window so keep the blind closed.

The hotel is quite modern, and the service is quite good and helpful. Our room rate does not include breakfast, and it costs about 2,200 yens for each person after a 15% discount for hotel guests. The buffet breakfast is quite good with both Japanese and Western choices. The hotel also has washer/dryer available for guest use. It is washer/dryer combined, and I always ended up putting more money in for extra drying. One feature I like about the machine is that it allows the users to input a pass code so no one can open the door to the machine and put your clothes out before you can get to them.

We have 3 people in the room, and it is quite clammed. The suitcases occupied most of the area available after the 3 beds, and there is no chair to sit after that, so it is uncomfortable if you want to use your laptop or to do some work. However, the beds and the comforters are comfortable.

The toilet is separated from the bathtub/shower area. The shower area is right next to the tub and is very spacious and comfortable. I like it very much.

The hotel is located near the Asakusa Station which accommodates certain subways and train lines, but not others. It can be confusing, and not as convenient to others. It is very close to the Asakusa Temple and the Tokyo Sky Tree is walkable if it is not too hot or cold.

Asakusa Tobu Hotel is my favourite hotel in our recent japan trip where we stay in 7 hotels over a period of 10 days.

In terms of location, it is 1 min walk to the ginza mrt line and 5 mins walk to the Asakusa line. Sensoji temple is only 5 mins walk away and there are lots of restaurants.

The hotel is newly built in the last few years. Condition is well maintained. We stayed in a large room with 3 beds. From our window, we can see the Tokyo skytree clearly.

I will strongly recommend this hotel.
