We were staying in Stanley for a few nights at a self catering cottage and decided to pop along for dinner on the Saturday night.

The restaurant was fantastic, there was a great selection on the menu and it was very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

Would recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back when in the area.

My wife, me and our dog Murphy stayed here for one night as a stop over. We are aware having a dog on our travels can be difficult but the hotel really do welcome them. We popped into the public bar with Murphy and immediately all of the locals warmed to him and on their insistence he was let off the lead to mix with the other dogs there. We had to eat dinner in the public bar as dog's aren't allowed in the dining room which is fair enough. But here's the best bit. When our dinner was served a lovely gentleman came over to us and took Murphy for a walk while we ate. We had a great night and the food was fantastic.

We had to find a hotel with short notice so ended up here! It's old fashioned with decor and pictures, We were given room 1 but after returning from Rewind Music Festival at Scone Palave cold and wet we found the room very cold as the windows had been left open for some reason !? My friend found a slater on her pillow and a dirty base sheet . I advised receptionist issues in the morning and we were provided with a heater and nice clean sheets. I had to also ask for second set of towels so wonder if this room not used on a regular bases ?
The cooked breakfast was hot and tasty on both mornings !!
I would stay again though.
We used Tay Cabs to get to and from Perth city centre highly recommend !

We have been traveling for weeks from overseas and this was a real home away from home.
We checked in with four kids and were given the room next door complementary to make things easier for us. The check in was easy, rooms were clean and comfy, with a touch of old Scottish charm. The staff were so friendly and made you feel right at home.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
