A dramatic scene which was well-worth visiting. Death Valley is full of surprises and we were thrilled to be there.

Thank Antal

The devil's Golf Course was a very neat place to stand at and take in the lower part of the valley and surrounding hillsides. The formations were very cool to see.

We visited the Devil's Golf Course during the summer. I am sorry we didn't get there early in the morning and hear the crystals make their metallic noise as they suddenly and quickly warm. Walking out a bit, you could see a little of the salt pinnacles. I think we needed to walk out further to see more interesting ones but the heat was so intense we kept is short. Still absolutely fascinating, though. Mind the warning signs that say a trip or fall could result in serious injuries or broken bones.

We were attracted mostly by the name of the Devil's Golf Course, but compared to many of the beautiful and strikingly unusual sites we visited in Death Valley National Park, we weren't very impressed here. Admittedly, the large expanse of sharp rocks covering the ground was very unusual appearing, but this was rather drab and it was not enjoyable to try to venture out on the rocks.

This was our second time to Death Valley and the first to Devil's Golf Course. What a different landscape!
