Heaven on Earth - This place is a hidden gem. It belongs to young beautiful couple with a dream and amazing cooking skills. It is up in the mountains above Bouillante. Far away from crowds and tourists in a beautiful garden. We made a reservation for lunch and it was by far the best meal we had on Guadeloupe. The table was set up in a beautiful garden. The meal was extraordinary. It was made of fresh local ingredients. Fish, papaya, manioc, turmeric, ginger, coconut and herbs from the garden. Our lunch was paired with aperitif, wine, digestif and tea. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Guadeloupe. The road to get to it is a bit tricky but we drove there in Fiat Panda and we were just fine. Email host about reservations and directions before you go.

This was the most magnificent meal during the holiday. Love It. relaxing setting in a tropical garden. The food was filling and yummy, whilst also very elegantly presented with edible flowers and great taste ingredients from the garden. Only on booking it's a table d'hôte not a restaurant.

First, this is not for faint-hearted drivers. The road is badly decomposed and very steep. But once you get there, you will be greeted by the lovely hostess and chef. The table is set under a large tree in the yard with fine linens and crystal. The chef uses only local ingredients for her menu. The portions are plentiful and she included sorrel juice and flat and sparkling water. We brought our own wine. The chef eats with the table but only speaks French. It was truly a delightful experience.
