We visited the impressive Kauri museum and decided to stay in the two bedroom cabin at the holiday park for a night. The cabin had absolutely everything you needed. Views are stunning, so peaceful and tranquil and units are a good distance away from each other so offers great privacy. Grounds are well kept and the owners are very friendly and hepful.

This is a lovely holiday park with spacious sites set among grass and trees. Some have great views down to the water. The owner was very friendly and welcoming – thanks for the scones!
Good facilities with everything kept sparkling clean. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked big and modern next to a large sitting room with comfortable furniture. Great location just along the road from the Kauri Museum, the old church and the beautiful, heritage rose garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a 2 room self contained cabin. The cabin was lovely and clean all equipment excellent, full oven/stove for cooking. Bathroom is perfect, excellent water pressure for shower. Lovely and friendly people always willing to assist in anyway they can. They made you feel welcome. The Kauri Museum is within walking distance as is the beach. Highly recommend this lovely Holiday Park for young and old, tenting, mobile homes and plenty of lovely warm cabins available. Thank you

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent with lovely view as is the tent and and caravan sites.

Room was spotless, park was quite, clean and so friendly. Owners helpful with what to see and do.... Park completely packed out so incredibly popular. Recommend anyone who wants to get away and enjoy this wonderful part of New Zealand right up in the Kaipara Coast. Heaps to visit with the Kauri Museum down the road along with the Gumdiggers Cafe... super food. A must for anyone wanting to relax.

Room Tip: Either side of the Park has views of the Kaipara Coast.

10th March 2017. Booked to stay two nights with our 6m motorhome on a powered site, rained heavy all night but it did not matter with sea views, hard ground, clean ablutions and great price. Great place to launch from and enjoy surrounds. Did not stay second night instead choosing to try other sights.

Thank you for our stay.
