This is my favorite hotel to stay at for a night or 2 get away! The hotel is clean inside and out. The staff all go out of their way to make it the best possible stay. Thank you to everyone including Kasy, Liz, Tatyana. It's hard to mention everyone because I haven't run into anyone in this hotel that wasn't nice and accommodating!

5-star experience for my family of 6! Everything about this visit was phenomenal, from management and staff, to food and amenities. Front Office Manager, Mike Pacheco, deserves notable mention. He ensured our family was taken care of at every turn. I personally watched his interaction with the staff and other customers. A true servant leader with compassion and respect. His example was infectious, as I saw if reflected in all the other staff members. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, the service was consistently quick and reliable, the wait staff was just delightful, and Ms. Shirley’s breakfasts were literally OUT OF THIS WORLD! She is a national treasure. If you are on the fence about booking here, read no more. Like Nike, JUST DO IT!

I stay in hotels 50-100 nights per year so I've pretty much seen it all. However, the level of leadership incompetence at this hotel is among the worst. The workers here were great but you could tell they are completely demoralized by the leadership. Stayed here for 5 nights and it almost became comical. The manager will post some standard type of response thanking me for the feedback, but this hotel wants zero feedback. I actually told 4 different employees/managers what I planned to post and the only feedback I received was from an employee who didn't discourage me from doing it. They hoped that maybe someone would begin to listen. So - what's good about the hotel? Location is amazing and rooms are above average size. That's about it. Here's the bad - 1) No recognition of Diamond status at any point during the stay. Didn't even get the customary bottled water that everyone gets upon check-in. 2) Ice - forget about it. There are what appears to be permanent out of order signs on floors 2, 3 and 4. The machines on 5, 6 and 7 had no ice the entire week I was there. If you got up early, you could go down to the first floor and get a small amount (but that machine is leaking water and they've had some makeshift repair to get it routed to the drain). 3) Housekeeping - asked on Monday upon checkin - didn't happen, asked Tuesday morning - didn't happen, asked Wednesday - didn't happen. I finally got a "manager" on the phone Wednesday evening and they cleaned the room - the only time it was cleaned the entire week despite repeated requests. I had an employee tell me this was common and the reason was that they are so understaffed and can't get to all the rooms. They said the housekeeping jobs at the Hilton were the lowest paid on Pensacola Beach (~$13 per hour). He also indicated the manager wasn't there and hadn't shown up to work for 2 days. 4) Parking - there are about 8 or so Diamond spots - no effort to try to give out tags to Diamond members so it's impossible to park in these - everyone was aware they are full of non Diamond members and no effort made to stop that. 5) No bracelets to try and keep the pool area reserved for hotel guests. This results in families not staying at the hotel coming (and parking in the Diamond spots) and spending the day at the pool! There's every a facebook group promoting this and advertising that the Hilton does nothing to stop it! Check for yourself. Would be solved by bracelets easily. 6) Gold/Diamond Benefits - Hilton's new policy is to give a food and beverage credit to Gold and Diamond members (up to $30 per day). I had charged well over $30 but noticed upon checkout that I hadn't received the credit. They said "oh, that has to be made at once, not separate charges". I laughed and said this hadn't been the case at any other Hilton. He informed me the property isn't actually owned by Hilton so they can set whatever policy they want. They ultimate gave the credit. 7) AC sounded like the Blue Angels were practicing in the room. It was near the end of the stay so I didn't even bother. I knew there was no chance it would be repaired. I wouldn't stay here again if the room was free.

Room tip: Go elsewhere! Go to the Margaritaville Hotel!

Pros:Can’t beat the location, views and good restaurants close by.Cons:Where do I start?Just accessing our room was a fiasco.Almost every time we left our room would have to re-key just to get in.To get into our room there was a common door that accessed two units.Had to turn the dead bolt and leave it in the lock position so we wouldn’t be locked out.It was just pure aggravation every day which put a damper on our little R&R vacation. The room was somewhat clean but not up to Hilton expectations. The bathroom however was discussing. To be frank it smelled like a combination of urine and mold.My wife and I have stayed in hundreds of Hilton establishments over the years but this Hotel has to be our worst experience. The Hotel manager did at least feel our pain and did comp us one night which was admiral and saving grace for this otherwise diabolical stay.We love Pensacola Beach and will probably return but very doubtful we will stay at this hotel.

So first off I debated giving 3 or 4 stars, but ideally they would get 3.5 from me, but i opted to round down.

We checked in Saturday July 30th and left August 2nd, so 3 total nights we were there. Check in was simple, nothing too stressful. Room was fine, spacious and had a balcony overlooking pool and beach, so kids loved that.

PRO's:
-Location to beach and boardwalk, was nice to be able to walk and go eat and hang out
-Workers very nice and always willing to help
-Overall the hotel was clean with no issues

CON's:
-Ice machines were broken on almost every floor. Hotel has two separate buildings. One building has 7 floors while other has like 10 or something. We stayed in 7 floor building and were on 5th floor and only ice machine that building that kind of worked was 7th floor.
-Heard from other guests that other building only had one working machine too.
-VERY expensive, but most things in Pensacola are and i get the hotel can't adjust the price of things, but be ready
-Breakfast buffet was $24 per adult and $15 per kid. But the selection was decent.
-Pool bar closed at 10pm, seemed a tad early for a vacation/tourist spot. I get they don't want loud parties out there all night, but just seemed early to me.
-All their computers went down Sunday afternoon and still weren't back to fully working before we left
-All charges had to go on room, or cash, no credit/debit cards could be used. Not a big deal for us, but something to notate for others going

This wasn't our first time going here, and we will certainly be back. Just some things could have been a little more buttoned up. I get that things break (ice machines) but i would have figured they would call someone to come work on them considering the hotel is basically full capacity and it's end of July. But instead they just hang a sign that says out of order. Granted you could stop at the bar downstairs and get ice, but that doesn't fix trying to bring an ice chest to the beach...

Thank you for the time to review your stay with us, David! We are so glad you enjoyed our clean facility right on the beach and close to everything in the area! We are sorry about the computers going down before you left, our summer storms do that. We apologize for the ice machines being down, we have maintenance working on this at the moment and we look forward to welcoming you back! ~Jessie
