20 of us stayed at The Piramidi for Christmas this year. Sadly there was no snow so our planned skiing holiday turned into a mountain walking holiday instead, but nonetheless it was absolutely lovely. Several of our party had stayed at The Piramidi before so had recommended it. The hotel was great - good accommodation and great communal spaces. As we were such a large group we had a variety of rooms, some quite palatial and others more basic, but each one was nicely furnished with everything to a good standard, especially the bathrooms. The bar area was pleasant and we made use of the tv lounge too. Breakfast was a standard continental buffet and we had our main meal in the hotel on Christmas Day but went out and about on other days. I understand that the hotel had changed ownership just a few weeks before we arrived, and we found the staff friendly and helpful, despite looking a bit terrified of such a large group of excitable English people descending on their hotel so early in their new ownership. Luckily we weren't deterred by the candid camera moment when 'Luciano' the new hotel manager walked out with a flourish half way through Christmas Day! We would definitely stay there again.

Room tip: Ask for one of the larger rooms if you would like a bit of luxury, and perhaps not on the ground floor.

Excellent stay! Helpful friendly staff, great location and lovely food in the hotel, one of the best meals we had in Italy as we couldn't red the menu (not in English) they let us try a little of everything! Close to ski hire shops and slopes, helped organise lessons and let is check out late. Highly recommend this hotel!!

I enjoyed my short stay here and found it very pleasant! Staff were friendly (but limited English), rooms nice and menu had nice variety. The hotel did feel somewhat awkward in some respects but no real complains. It's location was pretty good and I would recommend :)

The hotel has many common areas where the guest can enjoy a drink, play board games or more simply read a magazine.
The rooms are quite big and confortable always warm (it was a winter when we went) and the Jacuzzi shower with body-sprays is a great threat after a long skiing day .
Dinner and breakfast were included in the price and were quite good.
The hotel offers a wide free private parking space, which is very valuable specially during high season.

We booked into the Piramidi some months in advance having seen the tripadvisor reviews. We are a family with two teenage girls and it was a skiing trip.

We were shown to our excellent rooms which were by far the best of any hotel we've stayed in whilst skiing (in line with some of the very best chalets we have used). large beds, jacuzzi showers, lovely views etc.

We booked half board, and the 4 course dinner was really great. We are great lovers of real Italian food and we were not dissapointed; lots of home made pasta and desserts etc. The wine list was great and reasonably priced.

I would rate this hotel very highly for the rooms, the food, the gym , and most importantly the staff. There was a very professional, yet family feel to the place. Several of the staff shook our hands when we were leaving which was a lovely touch.

They recommended a small ski-hire place just a few minutes walk from the hotel which again provided excellent service. The ski lifts were a 5 minute walk and there were NO queues... ever.... not once! So a brilliant place to ski if you prefer skiing to standing in queues.

The one tiny area where they could improve was the 'heated' boot/ski store room. This had a woodburning stove and a heated bootrack, however the stove was only lit the first day we dropped out stuff, and I don't think the boot warmer was ever switched on. We ended up leaving our stuff at the ski rental place, which we wished we had done all along as it saved a couple of minutes walk in the ski clobber. It was a very small issue, which if resolved would have made the stay absolutely faultless!
