Seems YaYa's is no more - this is now a quiet breakfast and lunch venue (they do dinner only on Friday) we had a nice breakfast here - nothing out of the ordinary but freshly prepared and tasty - not an extensive menu but some intersting breakfast and lunch choices - clean with outdoor seating for better weather - prompt service and prices average - despite the name not noticeably Portuguese.

Coffee on the Square has now morphed into "Yaya's". Bella was our host for our first dinner there. She told us that they are establishing a Portuguese theme, starting with dinner and then progressing to breakfast and lunch.
Having our local haunt open for dinner on some nights of the week is great - I hope it continues as many businesses on the south coast of Natal fail due to lack of custom during the off-season months.
We had traditional Portuguese steak with an egg. I could not believe how cheap the meal was. The food is plentiful and wholesome. A very good meal at the price. The service was personal, friendly and efficient.
I wish Bella and the rest of her family all the very best with their venture.

We cant complain about the service as there was no service .The food was not great and we had to ask a few times for our bill. When we got our bill which came to R180 we put two one hundred rand notes in the bill fold and passed it to our waitress who disapeared behind the counter only to come out and say that we had only put one hundred and ten rand in the bill fold.On saying that we had put in two hundred rand she stood there and shrugged her shoulders .We will never go there again and certainly not recommend the resturant
