What can I say ? Outstanding service that was geninune and consistent from check in to check out. Two weeks spent in this wondeful hotel, the gold all inclusive was very impressive allowing us to eat from a variety of restaurants morning noon and night. We especially loved the steak in the Italian - friendly service from Yuli Antan in the Junkung Grill every Lunchtime without fail 0 thank you Yuli.
staff are excellent and nothing is too much.
Bali itself is an amazing island and we had the right balance of being active and relaxing. Dika was so friendly and helpful, supplying us with cocktails and ensured he found us everyday to check were enjoying ourselves, he is a real superstar.
All of the staff at the watersports centre were fantastic, they spent ages with my boyfriend everyday teachin him how to windsurf , and we enjoyed chatting to them everyday whislt enjoying our complimentary tokens for motorised and non motorised sports.
We were so sad to leave but look foward to returnining to this wonderful resort another time.

Grand Mirage Resort Review

7 nights booked through Resort

A cruise ship on land

Rated 4 star ++++
not quite like the Ritz, Hyatt or Palazzo Versace.... not $1,200 per night either
don’t expect Moet Champs on a spirits budget.
ambience makes up a lot at the Mirage. everything else I’d give 5 stars.

Getting there
If you book through the Mirage website, not a third party. you seem to get a few little extras thrown in eg: free shuttle from/to airport. Fruit basket iny our room etc.

Security
This is a very secure resort. As you enter the resort there are 2 checkpoints for vehicles. There are security staff all over the inside and grounds- all with a smily face and still welcoming ... makes you feel very safe.

First impression
As you arrive you enter a huge lofty marble floored foyer, welcoming staff are everywhere .. you will notice this more as we go along. Large waterfall 3 storeys high in centre of building. Everything is big. wide open, polished hallways leading to all rooms. cleaners and polishers everywhere, very clean.

cruise ship that is on land, no sea sickness and you can get off at any time. swimming pool, 4 restaurants, entertainment 4 nights a week, vert nice clean beach and activities all around.

This is a family orientated hotel.. so just be aware there are children about. It is still nice for couples... just go for the better rooms

Our room
The more expensive the room you choose the bigger they are. We wanted to splash out on a really big room so Our reservation was for the Ocean View Suite - 4th floor. decent sized lounging area with digital TV, bedroom with 4 poster king bed ( and another digital TV) was huge ( could have fitted another 2 beds in) as was the bathroom with big deep bathtub, large shower. Everything is BIG
tea and coffee making facility and Bar fridge but no microwave.. bummer.
Big glass window in lounge to see evertything from inside.
We did peek into other rooms as the cleaners were cleaning them. some were were a fair bit smaller. Check the square meterage when you book.
All the ocean view rooms have full 180 degree views over the grounds and ocean. Every room has a balcony with table and chairs. Balconies are in the shade from 11 am onwards... so lovely cool breeze and awesome outlook over the ocean.
From 11am till about 3 the sea is overtaken with all forms of speed boats, jet skis, banana boats, paragliders and more.

We arrived at the old building of the Hotel where we checked in. Then our room was turn our to be in the new building which was 2 mins drive by car from the main building (old Hotel).

We are confused with the "All Inclusive" term compqrw with breaksfast only, better check this term before you make any reservation.

The room is smelly. The beach is not as it shows, you cannot actually play or swim on the beach as it is notvreally a wide sandy beach.

Just becareful and check on the beach and which hotel building you are booking to.

I would not recommend this Hotel.

Our property has 2 wings which is main hotel and family paradise wing. As per chosen room category we allocate the guests, in the family paradise is preferred by family as it has a kids club, water park and slide.

We designed all inclusive packages to pamper our in house guests who want to stay in the resort for all day. All inclusive packages includes for unlimited food in all our 8 restaurants, unlimited beverages (juices, wine, and spirits) and other benefits for US$ 75 per person.

Hopefully you will stay again with us in near future.

After staying two weeks in busy Kuta, it was lovely just to relax by the pool. Although the younger members of our family did enjoy the water sports (canoeing and pool volleyball. They also took advantage of our free coupons from our 'all inclusive' and went on the speed boat, banana boat and the Seawalker. All of which they enjoyed greatly.
