After reading multiple review, it seems the beach and pool chair issue is the only complaint and it is an easy solution No saving with towels for more than an hour or two, Have someone walk around and if the chairs are unattended, remove the towels and offer to another patron. It's ok to go in the water or go to lunch, but that doesn't take more than an hour. They had reserved shady cabana with both upright chairs and loungers covered and never sat on them for hours. That is really unfair for the rest of the guests to be quite honest. Maybe by the time they finally came another patron would have given them their turn but someone else could have used it in the mean time. Barcelo...please get a better system once and for all. The cruise lines have someone walk around and take the towels that are unattended. So should you.

Room tip: Fix the cabana, chair and lounger situation!

Barcelona is a great value. Awesome grounds. Food above average for an all-inclusive. Centrally located on Palm beach near restaurants and shopping. The only downfall is the noise level in the evening. Every night it seems that there is a huge party from 1130pm-230pm. There is a cacophony of music and motorcycles.

exallent sevice delicius food , good location on the ocean. Very happy to stay, recomand to friends ,pool very clean , enjoy on the ocean water , ocean water is so clean , over all I and my family enjoy our stay to this resort

While staying in Barcelo our first dinner was at the seafood restaurant and we had Gershwin the waiter, omg the best waiter ever 5 stars for him.the food was great and the treatment spectacular. Thank you

We've been coming to the resort for 27 years. And won't change it for anything. It's not big and you get to meet people that become family through the year. Royal level Manager George he is so warm and welcoming & handsome! Erdelina & Joyce and Jaime just the sweetest!
