The shower was a nice walk-in big
The big turn off was the shower water just sprinkled out

The staff was great
Very helpful
The trip to the water with the shuttle was no problem “ Santos” was Great

Javier is hands down the best bartender on the island! I’ve been to Aruba 7 times and this is by far my favorite hotel so far. Every time I’ve come, I’ve stayed somewhere new! I’ve loved every second of this trip but the hospitality of the staff made it that much more enjoyable.

A quick spring break trip brought my family of four the Radisson Blu Aruba. The hotel is decorated very sparsely and furnished in a very minimalistic style. A mere dining table and an uncomfortable couch which seats three doesn’t come close to accommodating a family of four or more. The rooms have a very odd style and are not practical for families . The service is subpar. On a few occasions we felt insulted by the way staff addressed us. We were accused of causing a disturbance in the hallway when in fact we had been asleep in our room for hours. We were then woken nearly an hour later by a phone call from the front desk instructing us to be quiet. The staff in the breakfast area and shuttle drivers also made us feel less than welcome on more than one occasion. It appears that the staff (and management) rely heavily on the fact that their hotel is located on a lovely island and assume guests will forgive the treatment they are given. Indeed, the biggest asset to the Radisson Blu Aruba is the location.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your review and your valuable feedback. It was a great pleasure to have you as a valued guest at Radisson Blu during your stay in Aruba.
We thank you so much for bringing your comments and feedback to our attention. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience these might have caused you during your stay.
We pride ourselves on being courteous, professional, and responsive when providing our guests with the best possible experience at the resort, so we truly regret to hear that some of our staff members did not live up to the goals that we set as a resort.
Regarding the minimalistic look and feel of the rooms, it is the current overall hotel aesthetic and does take a bit of getting used to, however we do strive to provide every furniture/supply that a guest would need for a comfortable stay, and for this reason, we will be sure to relay your comment about adding additional chairs to the living room.
I have shared your comments and feedback with my management team and will surely look into each mentioned issue with the concerning departments.
We thank you once again for being a valued customer and appreciate the feedback which is very important for us to improve our services. We look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future.

Nice hotel, enormous rooms, immaculately clean, convenient location, great value. My wife and I just got back from Aruba (4th visit) and we stayed at the Radisson Blu located in Palm Beach. We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were extra-large (over 700 SF). Property has been open as a Radisson for 2 years. Comes with a kitchen, refrigerator -freezer, 2 large TV's, living room, etc. It's a quick 5-minute walk to the beach or 30 second shuttle ride. Helpful staff. We will stay here again, great value.

Room tip: Plenty of pool space. Bathroom is very nice counter space is small since the trough sink takes up most of the room.

We stayed here last year at the same time of year (March) and it was 5 stars across the board. The free breakfast that was in our package was exceptional, the staff across the board (front desk, housekeeping, bar, restaurant) was amazing. Everyone was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, efficient...couldn't say enough. Before I go on with this review, please note that we would certainly stay here again, we'd just avoid the bar/restaurant. I'm writing this so you know not to count on these services.
It appears that Radisson sold/leased off their food and beverage services to another outside group. They didn't do themselves any favors. Breakfast was a downgrade (quality and options), the bar was a nightmare, SLOOOW service, clearly the "bartenders" were not "bartenders". Service at breakfast was the same. Waited for coffee to be offered/poured and had to ask on several occasions, two of three doors locked and no one gave guidance as to how to enter. As customers having our breakfast, we were directing people to the only open door.
Hoping that by next year either the new group has their act together or Radisson takes charge again.
Otherwise, great location, rooms are getting a little dated, but they are clean, the beds are comfortable, the pools are big enough so as not to be crowded, views are beautiful and again, the hotel staff can't do enough for you.

Room tip: For the amount of time you spend in the room, we opted not to be for the "ocean view". City view was fine.
