Ignore the nay sayers, Absolutely ridiculous. This is a great hotel, well positioned and lovely staff.
Someone complained about the tunnel to the beach - come on. The hotel has a short tunnel that can take you under the road if you don’t want to cross the road. This is a helpful amenity. It is light and airy. And whether you cross the road or use the tunnel then you are on a beach in less than a minute.
Someone complained about the food at breakfast - it has a great selection, and constantly refilled. Would you prefer a mass amount dumped at once that goes cold. No. Every station is doubled up to ensure there is plenty.
Someone complained about the staff - all friendly, all eager to help. Janice at the Splash poolside restaurant is just lovely - employee of the week for me. Remembers you from day to day. The others are eager to help and apologetic in case anything might be wrong (maybe you horrible people giving negative reviews should look at yourselves, these are peoples lives and jobs).
Someone complained about hot water - really, the showers are lovely, hot, good shower heads, hard to tear yourself out.
Someone complained about the pool and children - OH COME ON. This hotel is not yet fully booked. It is a large pool. There is NO WAY people are intruding on you. You want a private pool then pay for it, don’t come to an Embassy Suites and then complain people are using the pool. At any time I have not seen more than a dozen people in the pool.
The hotel is newly opened. Yes there might be a snag or two, but what do you expect.
Fantastic view over the ocean, Easy access to beautiful beaches. Number of restaurants around. Simple to get into town.
AND, not overly intrusive. Some of the hotels here have bingo and other such things going on. This has pleasant grounds and subtle music.
I needed a break. I needed to chill. This was perfect.
