Ignore the nay sayers, Absolutely ridiculous. This is a great hotel, well positioned and lovely staff.
Someone complained about the tunnel to the beach - come on. The hotel has a short tunnel that can take you under the road if you don’t want to cross the road. This is a helpful amenity. It is light and airy. And whether you cross the road or use the tunnel then you are on a beach in less than a minute.
Someone complained about the food at breakfast - it has a great selection, and constantly refilled. Would you prefer a mass amount dumped at once that goes cold. No. Every station is doubled up to ensure there is plenty.
Someone complained about the staff - all friendly, all eager to help. Janice at the Splash poolside restaurant is just lovely - employee of the week for me. Remembers you from day to day. The others are eager to help and apologetic in case anything might be wrong (maybe you horrible people giving negative reviews should look at yourselves, these are peoples lives and jobs).
Someone complained about hot water - really, the showers are lovely, hot, good shower heads, hard to tear yourself out.
Someone complained about the pool and children - OH COME ON. This hotel is not yet fully booked. It is a large pool. There is NO WAY people are intruding on you. You want a private pool then pay for it, don’t come to an Embassy Suites and then complain people are using the pool. At any time I have not seen more than a dozen people in the pool.
The hotel is newly opened. Yes there might be a snag or two, but what do you expect.
Fantastic view over the ocean, Easy access to beautiful beaches. Number of restaurants around. Simple to get into town.
AND, not overly intrusive. Some of the hotels here have bingo and other such things going on. This has pleasant grounds and subtle music.
I needed a break. I needed to chill. This was perfect.

I am giving 2 stars because of the views and the fact the hotel is clean and new.
1. No turn outs!! the third day and we didn’t have turn out, house cleaning I had to request cleaning 3 times !! comes 4:30pm and no one cleaned our room.
2.service at the pool a complete disaster! talking about 2 hours to get a pizza and about 1 hour for the check, everyone are pretty nice but have no clue what they are doing.
3. Lack of information, whenever we asked where to go the staff seemed lost.
4. No HOT water! For 5 days I had to go down tintype Lobby to complain.
The staff are pretty friendly but not ready to have the hotel opened!

What a great opportunity we had of staying at a newly opened hotel! The Embassy Suites is beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was very friendly & they provided great service, the pool & surrounding cabanas take relaxation to the next level. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk across the street. Eagle Beach is a 6 minute walk to the left and Palm Beach is a 20 minute walk to the right. You will find a great variety of shopping & dining along the beach pathways & nearby streets. This hotel is definitely on our list for a return visit.

As a diamond member, we knew going into this trip that the hotel just opened and there was no beach- as long as you are aware- explore and create your own experience! The staff was amazing and they are working hard to make everyone's trip amazing. Some of the issues mentioned in reviews have been corrected. There is plenty of food at breakfast- even at 10am we were well fed. The hot tub still was not working when we were there. Its very windy on the pool deck- the umbrella's were not up- seems like they are working on this. This hotel is family focused- so expect lots of kids. Rooms were big, beds ( even pull out coach) were comfy. Balcony's were huge.

Tips:
1. We crossed over the street and used the beach on the right of the tennis courts- we found a tree with a wooden table around it. All beaches are public- just the resorts own the chairs- so be aware when using the beach in front of another resort.
2. Make dinner reservations- the island is crowed. Food was great at the hotel as well!
3. bring your own cooler and yeti cup. grab liquor at the duty free shops and mixers at super foods.
4. bring your own water bottle- we just filled up in our room- the water in Aruba is amazing.

We had an epic trip and will go back again with our families!
