This is a great beach. Usually not too crowded. Good Snorkeling if (as you are looking at sea) go to your right out and around the first bend. Don't wear flashy jewelry in the water. You may se Baracuda in Bermuda and they are curious but will NOT bite. They are amazing fish and beautiful in their own right. Love them!!

This a very nice beach, it was very quiet when we were there, it is not that big a beach maybe 150m long, there is a toilet block just behind the beach with outside taps for either a shower or just to wash the sand from your feet before you get your shoes back on, the number 1 bus takes you here from Hamilton roughly 15 to 20 minutes away, there is a bus stop right at the beach also a stop to take you back to Hamilton o er the road, there is not much shade at the beach, there is also no cafe or sunbed or umbrella rentals, but it is a nice spot and worth visit, the locals use it at the weekends so if you like it quiet visit during the week.

Okay so I maybe a little biased. I grew up around the corner from this gem, and spent a large majority of all my summers swimming and beach combing at this beach. It's always pretty clean, they have lifeguards during tourist season ...there is a shop down the road "Frank's" originally though it's owned by someone else now...so you can always walk over and grab a snack and a drink...its never over packed and has plenty of shadey spots.

If you're visiting check out the cave on the left side of the beach.
There is a Mermaid carved into the ceiling ;)

Went here after visiting Crystal Caves and the Swizzle Inn. It was right on the bus line. A pretty ride along the coast (isn't everything along the coast a pretty ride?). Quiet and very few people on the beach. Found a little spot beneath some rocks for shade. There is a lifeguard and a restroom (I think), but no beverages, so bring water to stay hydrated. The snorkeling was good here, too.

Really great smaller beach if you are staying in this area. Pink sand, good snorkeling, lifeguards on duty (in high season) and natural areas of shade at one end. We went many times and always quiet and mostly locals. Real gem.
