Went there to go snorkeling while the ladies soaked up the sun. It was a little windy and the waves were breaking on the outer reef. We stayed well inside closer to shore on the west end and the water wasn't to cloudy and there were some fish. On a good weather day this place would be great. Lots of cover and fans to make the bottom interesting.

My kids and I visited the beach this morning as part of the Keep BERMUDA Beautiful beach clean up.

This is a lovely beach, overlooked by the tourist books, which is a plus! If you want some out-of-the-way beach time, visit here.

This is a great beach. Usually not too crowded. Good Snorkeling if (as you are looking at sea) go to your right out and around the first bend. Don't wear flashy jewelry in the water. You may se Baracuda in Bermuda and they are curious but will NOT bite. They are amazing fish and beautiful in their own right. Love them!!

This a very nice beach, it was very quiet when we were there, it is not that big a beach maybe 150m long, there is a toilet block just behind the beach with outside taps for either a shower or just to wash the sand from your feet before you get your shoes back on, the number 1 bus takes you here from Hamilton roughly 15 to 20 minutes away, there is a bus stop right at the beach also a stop to take you back to Hamilton o er the road, there is not much shade at the beach, there is also no cafe or sunbed or umbrella rentals, but it is a nice spot and worth visit, the locals use it at the weekends so if you like it quiet visit during the week.

Okay so I maybe a little biased. I grew up around the corner from this gem, and spent a large majority of all my summers swimming and beach combing at this beach. It's always pretty clean, they have lifeguards during tourist season ...there is a shop down the road "Frank's" originally though it's owned by someone else now...so you can always walk over and grab a snack and a drink...its never over packed and has plenty of shadey spots.

If you're visiting check out the cave on the left side of the beach.
There is a Mermaid carved into the ceiling ;)
