Should have listened to the other negative reviews.

Just had $200 US taken right out of my wallet. I locked my wallet it in my suitcase and put the key in another suitcase - under clothes.

Spoke to the front desk, security, managers- they wrote up their "reports" and haven't done anything.
Says it takes 24-48 hours to "review" the door pass. By that time, I'll be back on an airplane. How convenient.

Spoke to sunwing rep- Took down his report and suggested I go to the police station that's 30 minutes away! Not happening. If they are willing to steal $200, who knows what else they're capable of.

Spoke to another traveller- same thing happened. Apparently they wait until your about to leave and then take your cash.

Don't stay here- its unsafe. The resort isn't that great either. The beach is disgusting. Tons of seaweed- couldn't even go in the water.

Also the vendors harass you. When I say harass you, I mean even if you say "no", they'll place an item in a bag and tell you to pay them later. Very annoying.

Thanks Royalton, I'll never travel to the Dominican ever again !

Our visit to Royalton in Punta Cana was an excellent experience the atmosphere in the resort was exceptionally good the services,rooms and friendly staff the food was delicious
I would definitely be visiting this place again

Just returned on June 10th from another wonderful vacation at Royalton Punta Cana, what can I say every time we go it gets better and better , we love it there , fantastic food and staff , we are always treated liked royalty by everyone , can’t wait to go back again , would also like to mention the wonderful staff of Travelsmart especially Gaby , Milla, Aurelian, Mayra and Danuisa, they are the best , can’t wait to see you all again ❤️

Everything is great about this resort except the service at restaurants and bars. Servers and bartenders could be rude and unhelpful despite tipping - especially the bartenders at the martini bar. Once a bartender took my $5 tip and didn’t even get me a drink - or ask what I wanted - just took it and walked away! (My fault for handing it to him before getting a drink I guess?). Resort is beautiful, food is average, housekeeping great, diamond club amenities great, our butler, Carolina, was amazing and so sweet. But service was just so bad - except for hibachi - we did have good service there. We never got drinks at the buffet for breakfast and would have to hunt down a water pitcher ourself and fill our own glasses. We had about 50 people in our group for a wedding - the cocktail hour they provided did have great service and the coordinator, Ines, was wonderful, very accommodating and helpful! Royalton white sands service was incredible, and far superior to Punta Cana. Hope the service improves as this is a huge downfall in an otherwise great resort.

We love this place,the food,the people,the food lol. I personally love seafood and they had a huge variety every day either for lunch or dinner. If it wasn't on the buffet and you asked for it the amazing staff will bring it to your table. We were taken care of by the wonderful Elizabeth and Adalgisa over at the dining room. If you needed something the amazing team from Travel Smart VIP, Mayra,Oscar,Aurelia,Mario Julio and Milagros took care of us all along our trip and were all the time making sure we were pleased. Jacqueline over at the spa is great. Definitely a place to spend a wonderful vacation! Royalton Punta Cana see you soon.
