Outstanding resort, very helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, fantastic drinks, great in room food and service. You don't need much more in life when you're there.
Few minor issues: scuba diving was terrible, weather was very windy for most of our stay. It's totally not resort's fault, but if you are someone who would choose this resort primarily to go scuba diving - go somewhere else, or you will be highly disappointed. Diving is much calmer and reefs much better in Negril.
Music! It was terrible.
We come to Jamaica to experience Jamaican culture, not American. They played so many cheesy songs throughout our stay that it was embarrassing at times. Disco night was a disaster ("barbie girl", country music... where is reggae or Jamaican pop???) Again, probably not resort's fault, because it is obvious they cater entertainment to Americans only. If you don't mind older crowd, clapping hands together to "Sweet Caroline" over and over again then you will be fine. You won't hear much of Jamaican music unless you leave the resort.More
