An awful place. Dank, dark, dingy and bunker like. Air cond. was old and noisy + worked on and off. The kitchen was a gas burner counter stove which needed to be hooked up. 1 pot with a broken handle , 2 forks and 3 spoons, a couple of miss matching plates etc.
Would not recommend this place to anyone and it wasn't cheap.
Advertised as a 7 mile beach hotel. It was not! Located across the street!

We were really lucky to find this hotel because it was really a hidden paradise. Staff is wonderful and breakfast delicious. Pool was nice and but we enjoyed more at beach bar which was the best part on our trip. Great music and so much fun we had there. The hotel is not luxury, the shower was not running water well and mattress on bed was bad but still we would not change to anything else.

we stayed 3 months at this hotel. Rooms were outdated no screens on windows so mosquitoes run wild ! AC were the worst or didn't work at all, not a quiet place at all. noisy quests loud music all hours of the night. Did not really enjoy this place & would never go back. Some people do like this type of hotel but we did not !!!

Room Tip: go elsewhere

Small hotel. Wonderful hardworking staff. I miss them already. Good breakfast. Pool is spotless. Security was on point.
If fluffy towels and sheets are your expectation, this is not the place for you.

We wanted to spend 3 days in Negril as part of our 7 day holiday in Jamaica. I booked it through priceline and the booking went okay. I emailed the hotel and asked if they have a driver who could pick us up and bring us back to Montego Bay and they said they did. So therefore hotel communications worked okay.

The driver his name is Allan but goes by Alley Cat tours (876) 385-2642 he can also be reached by simply emailing the hotel, jamaica@hidden-paradise.com I would recommend this guy anytime as he arrived about 45 minutes early to pick us up and said take your time I just wanted to be early in case of traffic problems. I like that.

Off we went and as luck would have it this was I believe Feb 9th and there is an upcoming election on the island and rally's were happening all over and mostly clog up the roadways. One such spot was pretty much impassible so Alley said looks go through the bush and was a most interesting trip for sure (talk about off the beaten path) but sure enough he got us to Negril "no problem mon". Thanks for that. He will take you anyplace at anytime and priced very reasonable. You do not have to be affiliated with this hotel just call him if there is anyplace you want to go.

When we arrived check in was okay no problems but wifi is really weak and works best if you stand outside towards the street strong enough to just send small text messages forget pictures. Good thing there was no charge for this. We went to the Woodstock bar on the beach and ordered a beer and got a password and sent messages from there. Sometimes you have to simply improvise.

Room was certainly NOT what we saw in the pictures using trivago we opened the door and thought okay we are now slumming it a bit. The air conditioner made a loud racket and the front desk lady warned us of that and said there will be a guy to come look at it before we even got to our room so thanks for your proactive approach. He did come and together we made it somewhat bearable. We always carry soft ear plugs that way we could sleep. The bed as soft and mattress worn out but we overlooked that and slept okay. I fixed the TV myself so that was all good. The room came with a safe and fridge that worked good. Very good shower with consistent hot water! After awhile we decided this is not that bad as everything was there and worked as advertised.

We got the breakfast plan and there was a hot breakfast served every morning the service not that great but the food was real good so lets call that a win as well.

Location was good as its just across the street from 7 mile beach and we have our own semi private path to get there. We had jerk chicken from Mr. Biggs outside the hotel one night and it was real good as recommended by others.
Kenny's Chinese food at the hotel serves very good food so no need to go to far as well as the Italian place just down the street.

Security was good there is a gate that is manned 24/7 to keep the undesirables out and they were helpful if you had any questions.

Overall this place was really okay it was our home base to tour around Negril and suited our needs nicely. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. We would certainly return to this resort although I would look to find a place right on the beach which we would prefer but certainly that is not a deal breaker.

Good Job Hidden Paradise and thanks Alley Cat, ( I was the guy you had to stop twice for to have a little vomit on the road). lol

If anyone has any questions ask away.
