So just got back from Jamaica the hotel is the same design as all the other Bahia Principes around the world from Mexico to Tenerife. All are very clean and well maintained but in this instance this is where the comparisons stops and we get into the pro's and con's Pro's The resort is in a great spot with a beach like cove around the hotel where the sea is clear and warm. Around the pool there are lots of sun-beds to choose from provided you get up early you will have no issues getting the spot you want with two swim up bars at either end of the huge pool. The food is above average with a buffet system for all meals with the addition to the jerk chicken, pork tent towards the beach area (if you're brave try the hell fire sauce over your chicken) Rooms are spacious and clean with a separate shower and jacuzzi bath Con's Pool The resort is split into two areas Adults only (Luxury bahia principe by dom pablo) and the gran bahia principe. Can I just say that the difference between the two is'nt that great only you get canopy sun lounges and top shelve drinks, which if you go to the principe in Mexico is standard. the rooms are almost identical but you do get room service which you don't get on the normal side; again this is standard in Mexico....More
