We came for lunch on a Sunday after driving the NW Tortola coast, having stopped first for lunch at another place just 2 bays away. That restaurant was serving Sunday brunch which included champagne & a bunch of courses, but the price per person was ridiculous, so we kept on driving the road until we stopped at Sebastian's. Having had dinner here 7 years ago, we knew the food was good, & it still is. Not as fancy as the place down the road, but the prices were much more affordable, the service was friendly, and the views from Little Apple Bay across to Jost Van Dyke were incomparable. I had the grilled chicken salad with a glass of their house white zinfandel while hubbie had a beer with his burger & fries. Just the right amount of food for that time of day with superb views & great service. I don't know how much of Sebastian's survived the wrath of Hurricane Irma, but all reports I'm getting from Tortola say most of the island is devastated. If & when they are up and running again, we wish them the best of luck. It's worth the drive to have a meal here.

They have average to good breakfast however for lunch and diner, go some place else. Overcooked seafood, using same sauce for all of the dishes.

We actually stayed at the hotel and had several meals at Sebastian's Seaside Grille. We recommend the Sebastian's Rum French toast, yes there was rum on the plate that soaked into the French toast. We don't recommend the bacon, either for breakfast or for a BLT. Too thick and tough.

We had stayed at Sebastian's on the Beach 2 years ago while on a Moorings trip with friends and during this stay on Tortola we had a breakfast and a Dinner there... but the best reason to go there is to buy the Sebastian's Rum. It is a blend of rums with spices added. It is one of the smoothest rums I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the hotel, the food and the rum as well.

We stayed on the property and chose to walk over for dinner. We were seated immediately because the restaurant was nearly empty. We weren't very hungry so my daughter and I each ordered the one pound lobster ($20 a pound according to the menu). The waitress told us that they only had two pound lobsters and that there wasn't much meat on them so it wouldn't be too much for us to eat. Being eaten alive by mosquitoes, I wasn't going to argue. Other family members ordered the jerk chicken and the Creole grouper. Unfortunately the mosquitoes won and we had no choice but to leave with our food to go. The spicy entrees were not even slightly spicy and the lobsters stuffed with crabmeat were overcooked. Furthermore, they used imitation crabmeat and the sections of lobster we couldn't access without cracking the shell were wasted. Clearly we were not happy at all with the food and the high cost just added insult to injury. On a positive note our server was friendly and did try to pack everything up for us quickly. If ever in Tortola in the future we will not dine here again.
