This is one of my favorite places in the world. Very remote and relaxing there is not a lot of activities but I can't think of a more romantic beach resort. We booked the romance package which I highly recommend it. Sunset cruise, couples massage and more. The food is amazing. We had our 5 & 8 year with us they enjoyed the resort and kids club. I am not sure older children would enjoy it as much. No televisions or game room. Outside of beach activities there's not a lot to do.

Nice, albeit ageing hotel.

Pros: Staff is sweet and helpful, restaurants are outstanding and the spa is beautiful. Beach and water are near perfect.

Con: the room - no internet and the furniture and bathroom need an upgrade. The rooms are below what we have experienced at other Rosewood hotels. Also, the hotel is quite large so there's a "big resort" and not a "personal" feel.

Long journey from Zurich via London, Antigua(8hr) and then to Tortola (1hr) and then 20 minute boat ride.  But a journey well worth it if you are looking to escape from everything and trade it in for Wild Beauty!  The resort is small 88 suites, 2 restaurants and 2 bars.  The resort has its own beautiful long beach located in its own bay.  All rooms are located within 10-15 steps from the beach!  You can hear the beach from your room.  Everyday the resort does beach drops where they take you to one of the 8 semi private beaches on Virgin Gorda Island.  The beaches are so remote, No homes, no bars, no restaurants and most of the time no people except yourself.  My favourite beaches were Mountain Valley, Savannah and Valley Trunk beach.   A must is to go to the Baths National Park, Spring Beach for the Sunday Picnic, and the various private beaches.  The rooms do not have TVs!  If you love to snorkel or dive this is the place for you.  Even in the hotels own bay you can see amazing variety of fishes, turtles, and sting rays.  They have a ship wreck from the 1800's of a British ship still in tack that you can visit by diving!    We stayed 5 nights and loved it!  Sad to leave.  Such a beautiful spot out in the middle of nowhere!

This is an exceptionally nice location, although it's expensive and frankly there isn't a lot to do. I find both Biras Creek and Caneel Bay to be better values. The beach at Biras isn't better, but there is a lot more to do and the value, while expensive, makes for a more fulfilling vacation. The beaches at Caneel are better, and with more restaurants, and better on-site activity, it is also a better value. LDB is nice, the tree houses are quaint, the food is good, but there are so many better options, especially in this price range. If you're splitting a trip, 3 days here, 4 elsewhere, it's not a bad starting point.

I have never before posted on TripAdvisor, but feel compelled to share our recent experience at Little Dix Bay. I had done months of research on all the options available for luxury resorts in the Caribbean, and finally settled on Rosewood Little Dix Bay to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. I know that the right choice was made, as all of our expectations were exceeded. So many times, pictures on a website can be deceiving in accurately portraying a resort. In this case, however, the Little Dix website, if anything, undersells the reality! The property is beautifully manicured, the staff is wonderful, and the options for enjoying your stay are both plentiful and readily accessible.

We stayed in a beautiful Jr. Suite with large windows and a large deck area overlooking the ocean. It had his and her walk-in closets, his and her separate vanities, a large separate tub, and separate indoor and outdoor showers. We were constantly torn between spending time on the white sand beach, and relaxing on our comfortable private deck.

We very much enjoyed our morning breakfast buffets and evening dinner buffets in the Pavillion with every option you can imagine. We also had a fantastic dinner at the Sugar Mill.

The beach drops were a great way to see more of the island, and new reefs to explore with snorkeling. The beach and water activities staff were very helpful and accomodating to our requests.

I hope that someone undecided about their Caribbean destination will read this review, and feel confident that Little Dix Bay will serve them well as a beautiful, relaxing, and friendly resort that will give them memories of a lifetime!

Room tip: Our Jr. Suite, number 106, seemed to be just about ideal, with a great view of the ocean, reasonable privacy, and close proximity to the resort hub. I would recommend the any of the units to the south of the main office area, as they are both quiet and proximate to most of the activities.
