Stopped on way to Starfish Point. Had an all fruit smoothie and coconut candy with ginger like you can get in Jamaica. Walked thru gardens, saw some different animals, went thru the pirates cave. Not a bad stop while driving around the island.

We stumbled upon the pirate caves and my son was very excited. It was a little boys dream to see a real pirate cave. It was set up with pirate booty laying on the ground with fake gold and skulls. You actually walk into the cave and it gets quite dark towards the back where the colony of bats live. You hear the bat and smell the bats and if your lucky...or unlucky depending on how you feel about bats they may start flying around and you will get to see them. Which in all actuality will make you turn around an scramble out of the cave. We visited it years ago (2012) and the kids found it amazing. For the adults the cave was neat but very staged. The stories associated with the caves say the pirates utilized them which is interesting enough in itself. There were animals on the grounds and the gardens were well taken care of. There was a little dog roaming that everyone fell in love with and wanted to bring back to the US with them. I'm sorry its gone now and other little boys cannot enjoy the fascination of envisioning real pirates in the caves.

This place at one time, was pretty amazing. With a small zoo in the back, and the pirate cave. The cave had fun things you would expect to see in a pirate cave, with treasure chests, skulls, fake gold (live bats)!

Yes, I know for a fact this place is now closed. But it is up for sell! Im just saying, someone with a great imagination, could really bring this place back to life, and prbly bang out some cash while living in the Cayman Islands. (not a bad gig) just sayin'.

A great place, that I hope, will return at one day.

Was it a real cave? It actually was! Did pirates use it. As the story went, yes they did.

Yes for all purposes this is closed. However, we went in 2013 and while in need of repair and attention, it does give an account of the history if not only the geography of Grand Cayman. Too bad, we would have gone again.

Stopped by for a visit and the place is not in business anymore. The office had a closed sign on the door, but I called the number and it is out of business.
