The food was fresh and delicious! The owners were beyond nice too. We had kingfish which came with a salad, rice, callaloo, potato, and plantains. The restaurant was closed due to a large group, but the couple weeks nice enough to feed us!

I had read on a T&T travel magazine that the owners served lunch daily and dinner just on Wednesdays and Fridays. Went first on Wednesday night and found the place closed. Thor phone number is on a big board outside the restaurant (see my pic) as well as on TripAdvisor. I called them and the gentleman who picked up said they don't do dinner on Wednesdays, but only fridays. Went back 2 days later on Friday night (17th feb).. same story. Place closed. Called them again. I was told they would not be open, but could I come back next week? I was in Tobago for just 4 days, so no chance of that happening! Per other reviews, their food is apparently good. If you plan to dine here have a backup plan. You are probably better off dining elsewhere.

We went here for dinner. As there were only two tables booked we were invited to sit on the upstairs terrace which was a lovely setting. Light, airy and intimate. The food was well prepared and the husband and wife owners were very engaging, making the meal a very personal experience.

Brought here by our guide, the famous Newton George. We knew we were in for a treat. A delightfully funny lady, Alison, took care of us. We had real local cuisine. Barracuda, flying fish, a little callaloo to go on our rice, and some fresh veggies. And the rum punch was fabulous! We couldn't believe how reasonable it was when we got the check. Highly recommended. Thanks to Newton and Alison for a memorable meal. Oh, and the flying fish was the bomb!
